Stylish Pool Home w/ Grill by GNV's Best Dining!

This three-bedroom, two-bathroom home is in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is stylishly decorated and spacious enough for groups up to 6. A pool in the backyard is yours for unlimited use! The kitchen is fully stocked with a Keurig and all the cooking essentials one would need. The backyard is fenced so pets and children can play safely. With high-speed wifi and seating in the living room/kitchen, working from home while on your trip is a breeze. Santa Fe College is 4 min away, UF is 12 min away, and the springs are 30 min away. There is a Ring doorbell camera in the front of the house on the exterior. The grill by the pool is a propane grill.

We have one king bed and two queen beds.. Parking is free in the driveway. The home is the perfect place for those visiting Gainesville who wish to step outside the busy downtown area, while still being able to enjoy the city's best restaurants and cafes.

One of the best features of the home is the location and the restaurants within walking distance. At the end of the neighborhood (5 minute walk) is Northwest Grille, Dave's BBQ, Mother's Pub and the Donut Hole. Across the street (10 minute walk) is Starbucks, One Love Cafe, Crafty Bastards, and Ichiban Sushi. These restaurants are some of the locals' favorites!

We welcome all pets with an additional fee of $75 per pet. per stay. Please use the pool and grill at your own risk.

- Please be mindful of noise and respectful to our neighbors. There is a 10 pm noise curfew in the neighborhood. Neighbors may call local law enforcement if noise levels are excessive after hours.
- Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside or outside of the home. Smoking will result in a $1,000 fee.
- Unauthorized pets will result in a $500 fee per pet.
- Unauthorized guests will result in a $500 fee per guest per night.
- We do not permit parties or gatherings at the home. Parties and gatherings will result in a $2,000 fee in addition to the unauthorized guest fees and immediate cancellation of your reservation with an escort off of the property by law enforcement.

Perfect for game weekend in Gainesville

The house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Communication with the owner was fantastic. It was a perfect place for our 7 adult family members to gather in Gainesville for a football weekend. We look forward to staying here again.

Very cozy and cute

We stayed 5 nights in this home to visit our son who recently relocated to Gainesville. The home is conveniently located. The host was very responsive to communication and made everything easy. The home is CLEAN and very tastefully decorated and cozy. The extra details like the lighting, the plants, the bedding, the comfortable furniture makes this a 10/10 property. We will stay here again when we return to Gainesville.

Enjoyed our stay

My husband and I stayed for a week with our dogs to visit with some friends in the area. The outside pool area could use a power wash, the pool chairs have seen better days, and the backyard overall just needed some love. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay. House was clean, good area, close to stores, and host was very friendly and quick to respond. I would recommend.

Solid refuge from the hurricane

During hurricane Milton, my parents, daughter and I stayed at this stylish home. The layout was perfect for us and I was able to even work from the table in the spacious kitchen. Only taking off one star because the traffic noise was loud which made sitting in the pool area less enjoyable and you could hear it in one of the bedrooms. Also, the garage door would not open, but we were able to manage without that.

Family trip to Gainesville

Great location for our needs

We picked this property as it was near our son who recently moved to the area. The property was clean and well stocked. While the property had a pool which was well maintained some may find the outdoor space somewhat noisy as the backyard abuts a main thoroughfare.

House is cute. Pool is nice. Planned a family cookout for Friday, 5/31 for graduation celebration. Grill did not work - did not get hot enough to cook food. Moved to stove top - multiple burners not working - fortunately, the oven worked. Screen around pool has Algae/mold on it - gross. Kitchen had ants & roaxhes - no food present.

Peaceful and convenient

Really enjoyed staying here with our family and dog for a quick weekend trip to the Gainesville area. Plenty of space for the kids to play. The boys brought their wetsuits and braved the January pool temps. Grocery stores and restaurants are super close. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. We would certainly consider staying here again, especially in warmer months with the pool.

Nice, newly renovated house

We were in town to deliver my son’s furniture to him at UF. We rented this property for our visit. The house has a wonderful pool! All the appliances and furnishings appear to be brand new. It’s close to restaurants, shopping, etc. We will definitely rent this home again when we come back to Gainesville!

Perfect for short visit

Everything was perfect. Location was near everything we needed in terms of restaurants, stores, and attractions that we had planned. The pool was awesome to come back and relax at with our 8 and 6 year olds. House was well kept and very aesthetically pleasing! Maria was easy to get ahold of if needed and checked in on us periodically. Honestly felt like home away from home. Can’t ask for better than that!

Terrific Home Base

In Gainesville for the GatorNationals, we two couples found this to be the perfect spot for us. The husbands were the racers, and the women were the moral support! After a long day at the track, it was lovely to come back and get a quiet night's sleep. The washer and dryer were so helpful.

Decent

AC stopped working about 4 hours into our stay. The host responded promptly, but it wasn’t fixed until 2pm the next day. We weren’t able to open the windows because none of them had screens on them. Needless to say that was a pretty miserable 17 hours of our stay… Several areas of the screening around the pool was torn or open (broken pet door). The place was pretty clean on arrival but there was a musty smell in the kitchen that wouldn’t really ever go away.

Overall nice and clean. Guest bath could use some attention in the bathroom. Mold/mildew in the grout. Traffic noise a bit noisy. Could not let the dog loose in back yard due to holes in the fence.

The aesthetic is lovely, but the cockroach infestation ruined the stay.

We checked in around 1 a.m. and woke up to cockroaches in the kitchen, bathrooms, our dog’s food and water bowls — and even in the bed. I contacted the host immediately and kindly requested a refund, as the home was clearly not sanitary or safe to stay in. While the host acknowledged the issue and said she understood if we left early, she still refused to issue a refund.There is a pull-out couch (which I don’t believe was listed — a small plus), but the cushions had holes, the backyard was mostly dirt (not ideal if you have pets), and the screen door was broken. The pool had a large vacuum in it that took up most of the space and a sign saying not to remove it… not sure how guests are expected to enjoy the pool like that.I truly wanted to love this place — the decor is beautiful — but the cockroach issue and the host’s lack of accountability made this a stay I cannot recommend.

Great pool!

We had a nice, long-weekend stay here! The house is clean and has an open feel. Communication with the host was exceptionally easy--very responsive. The pool was cleaned the same day we arrived, and everything worked as it should. One thing I would have liked to know beforehand is that the house backs up to a loud road. So if you're sitting next to the pool, it's never quiet enough for a relaxing conversation. This isn't necessarily a bad thing--I had to stay pretty focused on work while we were here, so I would camp on the patio with my laptop and the kids had fun playing in the pool without their noises being disruptive to my concentration--the road provides a kind of white noise effect. The noise might affect other expectations, but so many other features of the house more than make up for this. The pool has a fairly deep end, which allowed for actual swimming. The screening over the pool area keeps the massive FL mosquitos away. The kitchen was adequately equipped, although if you don't like using coated, non-stick cooking pans, bring your own. I think the only real suggestion I would have for improvement would be to put a folding table in the garage next to the washer/dryer to make doing laundry a little easier. The house is located near shopping, good restaurants, and multiple Publix grocery stores (a popular and quality grocery store in this area). It was a quick drive to some of the local parks and the Santa Fe teaching zoo, and just down the interstate to the prairie preserve, which we greatly enjoyed. Before we left, my husband and I agreed we would definitely stay here again next time I'm working in the area. Loved it!
