Welcome to COMFORTABLY CLOSE!
Only 1.8 miles from the Stadium and 4 miles from both Shands and North Florida Regional Medical Center.

Whether you’re here for a university event, our reputable hospitals, business, family or maybe to explore the nearby state parks and local springs, we are COMFORTABLY CLOSE to all of it. Although a busy street, the house is nestled up against Loblolly Woods, the back deck invites you to enjoy coffee or a cold drink while the sounds of nature push your cares away. Your pup can enjoy freedom in the fenced in yard.

Spacious floor plan offers everyone room to relax or to gather all together. In the living room sits a 65” smart TV. We have an antenna but do not offer cable. Feel free to log into your own streaming services. We hope you enjoy the many choices offered by this “way-smarter-than-me” TV! If you’re looking for a special live athletic event, we suggest Gator Dockside right around the corner! Try the wings!

Our "office room" is really a bedroom. This way one can work behind a closed door if necessary. The house sleeps 8. We do not offer extra bedding for more than 8.

A terrific neighborhood for outdoor activities. Loblolly Woods & WestSide Park are literally right here! The park offers: basketball, baseball, exercise trail, playground, swimming pool and tennis! Pet friendly however leashes are required.

Gainesville is easy to navigate by car but if you’re gonna drink, please use services like Uber or Lyft or taxi services.

There is plenty of private parking on the property for up to four vehicles. If arriving after dark, look for café lights in the front yard.

We also ask that, if bringing a pet, you pick up their poops from the yard. Bags are provided. Please, for the health of all our canine guests, leave the yard sanitary. Housekeeping does not patrol the yard. We feel this is a responsibility of all pet owners no matter where you are. Thanks for being good pet owners!

We ask that you treat the house and neighborhood with respect.
Observe quiet hours 10pm-7am
Park in designated areas.
No smoking or vaping inside or on the premises.
Parties will not be tolerated.
Only registered guests permitted.

For families bringing pets, we welcome 2 canines for the one $65 pet fee. You may request approval for additional pets. Unapproved pets will result unfavorably. We request & appreciate that you pick up poops. This provides a more sanitary yard for all our guests.
