Luz do Sol – Spacious & Welcoming

Luz do Sol is a welcoming three-bedroom apartment accommodating up to 6 guests, making it an excellent choice for families or groups of friends looking for a comfortable stay in Funchal. Featuring warm décor and well-planned spaces, it provides a relaxing setting after a day exploring the island.

The social area includes a comfortable living and dining room, perfect for spending quality time together or enjoying shared meals. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed to prepare meals throughout your stay.

The private area comprises three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with two single beds, offering flexibility for different travel groups. The apartment also features a full bathroom.
One of the property's highlights is its spacious mezzanine balcony, which combines a practical laundry area with a cosy lounge space furnished with a table and chairs, creating the perfect spot to relax or enjoy a meal outdoors.

With its warm atmosphere and functional layout, Luz do Sol offers everything needed for a comfortable stay while discovering the best of Funchal and Madeira.

AREA
Located in Funchal, the apartment enjoys a convenient setting with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and local services. Within just a few minutes, guests can reach the historic Old Town, Funchal Marina, Mercado dos Lavradores and the city's beautiful gardens. Its excellent location also makes it an ideal base for exploring the rest of Madeira, from its stunning landscapes to its rich gastronomy and local traditions.

PROPERTY RULES
To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.

• Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• Pets are not permitted.
• Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.

The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property.

In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes.

Municipal tourist tax (when applicable):
€2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival.

Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability.

Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge.

By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions.

OTHER NOTES
All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket.
For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.
