Apartment located in the historic center of Funchal, a few minutes walk from the center of the city, just below the Pico Fort.
House recently restored and transformed into two independent T1 apartments. This little one!
It has a modern design, very comfortable and cozy, with a magnificent view over the bay of Funchal, making it possible to watch and enjoy the fantastic fireworks display of the common terrace of the building (2 apartments) .
Consisting of a spacious bedroom (double bed) with complete ensuite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area.
It has a private garage for a car (parking A) at no additional cost.
Excellent geographical location, close to the access to the highways, so you can travel all over the island and enjoy the beautiful natural landscapes, and close to the historic center of Funchal, and can even get around on foot.

Our holiday

Very good location. Near the city center.Very steep road to the garage, it requires good driving skills. Everything worked well. Enjoyed the sunrise from the little terrace while having breakfast. Nice view on the city and the ocean.

The property is located in an ideal location 10/15 minutes from the sea and most restaurants. It is located up a hill so as long as you don’t mind a walk it’s perfect! With lovely views down over Funchal it makes a pretty perfect base for your holiday!

Comfy stay in great location

The location is perfect, in a quiet neighbourhood but close to all amenities. The beautiful view from the bedroom window is of the port so you can watch cruise ships, marine traffic and wave action when the swells are high. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed comfortable and the deck is large and pleasant for relaxing.

We had a pleasant stay

Everything was fine. From perspective afterwards, we would suggest take the larger appartment. Going by car up the street and into garage you should be not frightened.

Excellent Funchal Appartment

The stay at this Appartment was lovely and working with the host was easy! Everything was as the listing stated and we would recommend this Appartment! The only thing we had trouble with was the garage was very tight if the other spot is full. It was doable, but a smaller car would be easier to park.

It was a nice place to stay within our budget! Judite was great and everything was clean, worked, and felt safe. Judite even accommodated out late arrival - 12:15 am! On the other side, we were aware there was no air conditioning but the apartment often got quite hot and muggy. While the parking was an excellent accommodation, it was quite a tight fit after a precarious drive uphill. All things considered, would absolutely book again!

Pleasant stay in cozy apartment with great views.

As we stayed in apartment A, we loved to watch the sunrise over the sea from our bed. We relaxed a lot on the patio and had our meals there and often wind off in the evenings on the hangig chair on the terrace. The kitchen provided a sink, induction stove, knives in all sizes, even wine glasses. The pots and pans are small but overall totally suited for two people. The bathroom was clean. The city center, supermarkets and bus stops are reachable in a short walking distance. As Funchal lies at the bottom of mountains, prepare for a very short hike to get to the apartment. The view makes up for everything. ;)

Centrally Located Funchal Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Funchal. The unit we rented was too small for us but that was a problem with our choice, not the owner’s. However, it was extremely well equipped particularly in the kitchen.This apt is perfectly located, only 10 minutes walk to the marina, La Vie shopping centre and a myriad of activities, museums and restaurants. There is a magnificent view of the city and the cruise ship docks from the terrace. Our hosts were very accessible and answered quickly whenever we had a question. Due to its hillside location, this would not be appropriate for people who have fitness or mobility issues but for us it was great to stay fit while vacationing. We would definitely consider renting this property again albeit choose one of the larger units.

Appartement voor 2 personen in Funchal

We hebben ons prima vermaakt in Funchal. Het appartement ligt een kwartier lopen van het centrum, de kust, winkelcentrum. Maar het ligt wel hoger tegen de berg en sommige straten zijn erg steil, dus je moet wel goed ter been zijn. Woonkamer is inpandig, vanuit de slaapkamer en het terras heb je een prachtig uitzicht over de stad. Prima keuken met apparatuur. Schoon.

Toller Urlaub

Die Unterkunft und Lage hat uns gut gefallen. Man hat einen wunderschönen Blick dort und lĂ€uft nur 5-10 Minuten ins Zentrum, sollte aber bedenken, dass der Weg recht steil ist. Auch die Auffahrt mit dem Mietwagen ist sehr spannend gewesen aufgrund der steilen und engen Straßen. Einen Mietwagen, der grĂ¶ĂŸer als ein Smart ist? Kann man machen, muss man aber nicht: in der Straße gibt es keine Wendemöglichkeit, die Straße ist schmal und die Garage recht eng, sollte man nicht wie wir das GlĂŒck haben, dass die zweite Wohnung unvermietet ist. Alles in Allem eine top Unterkunft und ein sehr netter Kontakt

Super mais avec un petit bémol!

Bien situĂ©! Appartement quand mĂȘme petit . Ststionnement inaccessible pour une moyenne voiture . Stationnement alternatif plus bas mais il faut retourner mettre des euros 3/4 fois par jour car il y a une limite de temps ( 31/2 heures chaque fois ) et il faut dĂ©buter le paiement Ă  partir de 8:00 le matin . Grosse cĂŽte Ă  remonter pour se renders a l ‘appartement . N’oubliez pas que traversas veut dire petite ruelle Ă©troit et platte Ă  utiliser . Un coup engagĂ© tu ne peux plus reculer

Proche du centre mais emplacement en pente et Ă©troit

Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© ĂȘtre proche des rues principales du centre ville de Funchal, la vue panoramique depuis la terrasse, et la gĂ©rante de l’appartement est disponible et rĂ©ceptive. A noter que les rues sons trĂšs Ă©troites et en pente pour accĂ©der au logement. L’accĂšs au garage est difficile, cela demande plusieurs manƓuvres pĂ©rilleuses (nous en avons fait les frais). Des odeurs de canalisations Ă©manaient de la salle bain (sans fenĂȘtre, vmc faible) et de l’évier de la cuisine, et nous avons eu le sentiment que le mĂ©nage n’avait pas Ă©tĂ© fait en profondeur dans ces piĂšces lĂ .

Annonce trĂšs trompeuse

Annonce mensongÚre qui vous montre dÚs la photo d'accueil une table sur la terrasse à laquelle vous n'avez pas accÚs puisque réservée à l'autre appartement. Cet appartement ne dispose que d'une ridicule petite table ronde sur un petit bout de terrasse. L'annonce ne précise pas non plus que toute autre voiture qu'une petite ne sera pas possible à garer et donc parking payant à distance et en bas de la route (fort dénivelé à remonter à pied) A savoir, odeurs désagréables dans partie cuisine et salle de bain et propreté douteuse de cette derniÚre. La vue n'est pas si bien que ça car masquée par les toits situés devant. Aucun contact avec les propriétaires. Procédures faites par un gestionnaire Arrivée = simple message sur WhatsApp pour récupérer les clés Départ = aucun message. Ni avant, ni aprÚs Ne comptez donc pas sur eux pour vous donner des conseils Promiscuité avec l'autre appartement donc c'est calme si vos voisins sont calmes Seul avantage, proche du centre donc celui-ci accessible à pied et avec de bons mollets pour remonter En conclusion, pas trop cher mais pas trÚs bien
