Lovers of movement and city life will love this charming and refined studio, located in the heart of Funchal.
Its interior space has been maximised to offer the utmost comfort, combined with modern and tasteful décor, meeting all your expectations. The flat has two single beds, bathroom with shower and an equipped kitchenette.
The property is fully equipped to make you feel at home!

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
Guests have easy access to several restaurants (there is a small cafe just outside the building), shops, shopping centre and supermarket.
This flat is situated very close to the famous Farmers’ Market (Mercado dos Lavradores), the historic centre of Funchal (locally known as ‘Zona Velha’) and the Cathedral. From here you can explore by foot many of the main tourist attractions of our beautiful town. (e.g. The Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc ...)

Barreirinha Beach is about twenty minutes' walk away, where you can relax and dip into the crystal clear waters of the island.

GETTING AROUND
Although a aerobus bus stop for airport arrivals and departures is within four minutes walk distance from the flat, we recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get there. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport!

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties.

Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Secret agent vibes

Nicely tucked away in a corner in the center of the city, close to everything. Loved the secret agent vibes of the place, coming to our floor from the elevator it took our tired brains a second to realize there were doors there at all 🤭 check in was easy and effortless, the place was clean and neat. The airing of the place could have been a bit better, but didn't hinder the experience. Perfect sized for an 'out all day' -kind of vacationer and the staff was very friendly and accomodating.

We stayed here for 4 nights. It was a good stay. The key was not where it was supposed to be, someone had to come bring it after we called them. But there was a lot of noise from the other apartments in the building. You could hear the toilet flushing in the room above us. That was not so pleasant. Also the shower could use more cleaning. Overall it was okay

Alloggiare in questo appartamento è stata la migliore scelta che potessi fare per visitare Funchal e l'intera isola di Madeira. Due giorni prima del mio arrivo mi è stato comunicato dalla struttura che nell'appartamento che avevo prenotato era stato riscontrato un problema con l'acqua calda e quindi mi hanno invitata ad accettare una sostituzione. L'appartamento in cui ho soggiornato rimane praticamente "dall'altro lato della strada" rispetto al precedente, 1 o 2 minuti a piedi di distanza. Appartamento bellissimo, nuovo, ben arredato e dotato di ogni comfort. In posizione ottimale per visitare Funchal, non è dotato di parcheggio, ma a 5 minuti c'è un silos in cui è possibile lasciare la macchina a pagamento (non sono molti i parcheggi gratuiti in città). Il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile. Tornerò sicuramente!

Die Wohnung war alles in allem ganz gut. Die Lage war super, nachts etwas laut draußen & etwas störend ist das Geräusch der Klimaanlage wahrscheinlich von dem Lokal unter der Wohnung. Ansonsten alles in Ordnung!

No creo que repitiera

Está nuevo y es céntrico pero para lo que vale es muy pequeño. Además sin servicio de limpieza de habitaciones en 5 días. Pedimos una toalla extra y algún rollo de papel higiénico (solo había uno!!!), aun estamos esperando ésto último...Madeira es brutal, venid sin dudar!

Worst accommodation ever!

I didn’t stay at the apartment I booked. The place was advertised as a penthouse with a beautiful terrace overlooking Funchal. I stayed in a tiny hole with no terrace and no view.

Det bedste ved lejligheden er den centrale beliggenhed. Det var nemt at ankomme da al information var tilsendt på forhånd. Lejligheden er fin, lille og moderne. Der var hvad vi skulle bruge i de 14 dage vi opholdt os der. Vi er vandrere, og for os var der ikke langt til offentlig transport det fungerede upåklageligt. Hvis vi kommer igen i lejlighedskomplekset vil vi foretrække den på 5. sal som så ud til at have en skøn terrasse, men det var også penthouselejligheden. Man skal lige vide at der udelukkende er mikroovn, og begrænset mulighed for at kokkerere. Til gengæld er der mange mulige caféer og spisesteder lige i nærmiljøet. Skønt ophold 😉😉

Very good service, building needs to be checked

Hi, Thanks for hosting me! Overall the service was very good, staff was super nice and responsive when contacted and internet is fast. The apartment has all the amenities needed, however the bed is extremely uncomfortable, especially the pillows. On a less positive note, the building needs to be checked. The smoke alarm flashes red every few seconds and there are weird noises coming from the entrance area on the 4th floor that are ongoing and made me feel uneasy.

Modern with all facilities and nice staff

The staff member we met was excellent in suggestions and always reachable. The room was modern and very clean, but a bit small than our expectations and did not have a sea view (unlile what i saw in pictures). Kitchen was fully equiped including also salt, coffee powder and oil. The toilet was modern looking but was less maintained. The door lock did not work, the shower door was defective and the toilet seat flap was unstable. Apart from these small hickups, I would come back.
