"This was a really awesome place to spend the weekend. My girlfriend and I were looking for a unique place to stay while exploring the Mississippi Palisades and the surrounding hiking areas and this did not disappoint. The location was great; right downtown in Savanna and only about 10 minutes from the park. The apartment was clean, cozy, and well-furnished. Communication with the owners was great and the check in/check out was super smooth. We would absolutely stay here again! "

"Front desk staff, housekeeping, and breakfast attendant we interacted with were so friendly and helpful. The room was appointed nicely and clean. The breakfast and coffee were very good. The pool was clean and water temp was comfortable. The view of the river makes it a great spot plus easy to get on/off the highway from. "

"We were welcomed and checked in quickly by a very friendly desk agent. When we got to our room, we were happy to see everything was cleaned and perfect, with all the necessary amenities. The temp controls worked great and everything was aesthetic. The beds were comfy except the sleeper sofa (we are a large family so always have to use). I used it this time, and it was definitely not that great. We used the pool, which was super comfy and nice. The breakfast was awesome too, with very friendly kitchen staff. The dining room is pretty. The only suggestion would be maybe try to have a vegan yogurt and milk (may have had the plant-based milk - I didn't thoroughly check or ask). As a vegan, I hate a brown sugar oatmeal cup, an apple, a peanut butter packet, and coffee. Very good!! The kids (non-vegan) had endless delicious options. We were very pleased and all decided this will be our go-to hotel for Clinton!"

"The property was more private than we were anticipating. Very quiet neighborhood on a dead end gravel road. The house has it's own dock and boat launch, which was not expected. We brought our fishing boat, so it was perfect! There were a lot of backup supplies that came in handy, also. The house is a bit dated, but we did not mind; it did not affect our experience at all. A couple critiques: consider putting curtains on the windows (especially the bedrooms.) There is central AC, but the bedrooms get pretty warm and then stay warm overnight. They would help the AC not struggle as much to cool the house during the day, in general. They would also help for those that aren't early risers. We were up with the sun by 5:30am each day and would have liked to have been able to sleep longer, as we work evenings. Also, the power went out our last night there. Being on a well system, we ended up with no water also. We noticed almost all of the neighbors have backup generators, which makes me think that it happens regularly. Should maybe consider doing this also. Note: it did storm our last day there. Overall it was a great place and a great time. We would definitely stay here again!"
