"Breakfast was prepared well by the staff. Toast and drinks are self-serve. The dining area views of the mountains are gorgeous. The private hot spring tub in the room was so relaxing for my sore muscles. The design of the building allows privacy. The overall feel of the place was relaxing, contemplative, and rejuvenating."

"There was less than a quarter bag of toilet paper when we arrived . Everything felt damp. It’s obvious that owner tried to make everything clean but the property is just old. Check in process was less than desirable. If it weren’t because the owner just happed to drop in we wouldn’t know how to get in to the lobby. Check out was easy. We just had to drop the key in the basket."

"This is a nice and simple place to stay while exploring the area. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Note that nothing, apart from soap, shampoo, bottled water, a fridge and a kettle, is provided - bring your own towels, cups etc (large paper towels provided if needed). The hosts are very friendly. Most importantly, the address on hotels.com is wrong or Google maps gets confused - search maps for 鄉村民宿, which is 2, Alley 4, Lane 23, Section 1, Wenquan Road, Ruisui Township, Hualien County, Taiwan 978, coordinates 23.506313,121.373059. It's a 20 minute walk to the town of Ruisui, or a few minutes' drive. "

"We stayed one night in this lovely B&B, they provide free bikes for the guest, and breakfast voucher. Room was great, walk to/from the train station."
