Well kept property both outside and inside the room. The comfort room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable bed. It included a small kitchen with a sink, stove top, microwave, kettle, rice cooker, knives, bowls, plates, cutlery and cups. Adjoining the shower/tub area was also a washer, bonus. The only hiccup was checking in which was resolved with a quick response thru email. Close to Hakata Station about 15 minute walk and all the usual convenience stores and eateries close by. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a very comfortable stay.

Liked: Cleanliness
The room was clean, and while the draft and noise from the heat pump above the bed were a bit bothersome, its functionality was otherwise satisfactory. The motorcycle noise from the street at night was quite inconvenient. Although it was stated in their policy, I was a little disappointed to be asked for an extra fee just to store a long-term guest's luggage for about two hours after check-out. In the end, I took my luggage at the check-out time and used a locker at the station.

Disliked: Room comfort
Small little condo style hotel
There really is nothing necessarily terrible about this property but nor is it as nice or as large as some other properties near by. Location is pretty close to the airport as well as Lala Port and Hakata station.
The biggest downside is the lack of parking, and getting in the front security door is kind of a huge pain in the rear, finally the unit is quite small and ideal for 3 people max.
Great location to subway, only 1 stop to the airport or 1 stop to Hakata for the Shinkensen.
Check in was not as straight forward as it should of been - the booking code wasnt active so didnt work. Messaged them through expedia and they sorted it so we could get in.
No keys, we just took a photo of the codes to open doors.
There is quite alot of road noise during the night so if you are a light sleeper this could be an issue.
The is a restaurant downstairs which was good/convenient. Family Mart/Lawson close by on ur way to the subway exit 3 (has escalator at this entrance)
Great location! Easy access! Walking distance from Higashi-Hie Train station.
Spotless clean and organized. I love this place!
Thank you so much for everything Grand Residence Hotel Hakata!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Easy access to a station, a couple of convenience stores within 3 min walk, and the room was roomier than a typical hotel room in Japan. It’s a plus that the washing machine was in the unit.
I wish there were two packets of detergent so I could wash colors and whites separately.
The only thing is that there was no email address available, only a phone number, if I wanted to contact the management. My phone plan doesn’t have a free Int’l call to local numbers so having email to contact would make things much easier.
React to request is slow. One of the 3 rooms I stayed in had a defect which the door cannot be locked. The dishes are not available in one room. One room does not have pot nor rice cooker. None of the room has knife. One of the room don’t have hanger….etc
If you stay at this property then you should know that you will need to go to another hotel to check in. After check in take a taxi from that hotel to the actual hotel.
If you are choosing this hotel because close to airport then don’t because the check in is not close.
They will not come to the property even with three staff on hand at the other hotel.
Staff only speaks Japanese.
This is an apartment building and not an actual hotel.
I am incredibly disappointed with my recent stay at your hotel. I spent just one night there, and to my horror, I discovered bed bugs in my room. Not only was this experience disturbing, but it also led to significant skin issues and irritation that have persisted for over a week. I even had to see a doctor due to the severity of the situation.
I will be attaching images to illustrate the condition I experienced. This is unacceptable for any establishment, and I expected much better from your hotel.
Check-in was terrible. The iPads were not responsive, and the instructions were not clear in English. Management was not available via intercom nor was there an English speaker at the phone number. Had a guest who spoke both English and Japaneese walked in we would not have been able to check in. The room was fine - not fully clean (dirty towel on table) and the sink was dirty.
Was verbessert werden könnten:
