We were thrilled with our decision to stay at this hotel. It had everything we needed...a subway station, 7-11, mall, restaurants and a beach all in walking distance. The staff were polite and accommodating. The reviews are true, the room is small....but as two girls with three suitcases, we managed just fine because, really, there's so much to see and do in this area that the room is just a place to sleep and store your stuff! Who cares if it's small. It's impeccably clean, the water pressure is perfect, amenities are plentiful (and free!) and the beds are comfy. What more could you ask for?? Thank you for a wonderful stay.
This is a great place for a budget stay! The standard bedroom felt a little tiny even as a solo traveler, so I would recommend going for the double if you are traveling as a duo or feel you need more space.
The Japanese breakfast is very much what it says on the card—if you're a foreigner and can't read hiragana/katakana, you might not recognize much beyond eggs/rice/pastries.
The front desk staff were very receptive and kind! All in all I very much enjoyed my stay, especially with Tojinmachi Station just outside the door. It made traveling around the city super easy.
Other than the small size of the rooms , this hotel was excellent. Very clean , delicious buffet breakfast , near subway ; courteous and responsive staff .
English was not a problem
the entire hotel smells bad, a smell that resembles cold tobacco. the smell in the elevator and in the bathroom is absolutely disgusting. the toilet bowl is too small and was stained with urine when we arrived. the rooms look shabby, you can see that they have not been redone for a very long time. the rooms are poorly laid out. the tv is not watchable from the bed. there is way too much furniture. you trip over it. you can hear a lot of noise coming from neighboring rooms. the staff is friendly and helpful. the hotel has the advantage of being located near the metro and a konbini. overall I do not recommend anyone to stay here. the value for money is not there.
The only problem was the breakfast voucher experience was not very good and they could not give me a receipt. I was in a room and they kept giving me a receipt for a different room. They kept printing out the wrong receipt 3 times. I could have written off rhe stay if i got a receipt.
