This is my second time staying at this hotel and my family loves it. The hotel is great, with comfortable rooms and all day dining for guests. The meals had plenty of variety, with the dessert section being exceptionally good. It is also located near various transport nodes, although a little walking is required. You can find yatais located within walking distance around the area and there is a large shopping mall right across the river.
Great staff great space, nice clean and the design of this hotel is such an art piece! :) however it’s a bit complicated to get in, you have to go to the B1F to pass another room door to the elevator to get to your room floor, it’s a bit like a maze! Not recommended for claustrophobic… overall, beautiful stay!!

Clean & Comfortable Room
Iconic & Designable Hotel
Well Service in Check-in
Staff spoke good English and helped with many recommendations, including massage services, tattoos, and restaurants. The resort fee is very inexpensive, and there is unlimited buffet for guests everyday!
This place is absolutely something special. It was so clean and puts you right in the middle of everything good in Fukuoka. Staff at this hotel were so friendly and went out of their way to make this a spectacular stay.
A very large room and comfortable stay. Upscale feel with furnishings and lighting The huge soaking tub was relaxing after a long day of walking The food that was available throughout the day was amazing. centrally located between the two entertainment and shopping districts, Tenjin and Hakata. They stored our luggage and even called for a taxi. Will definitely stay here when in Fukuoka again!
The service was outstanding. Told me to sit in the lobby and bought me a cup of coffee while I sat in a comfortable chair during the checkin process. Newely remodeled and my room was large and filled with amenities even by American standards. A much better experience than I had with the nearby Grand Hyatt.
The architect itself is worth to stay in this hotel. The staff is super nice and helpful, as professional as they are.
They provide parking space which i wasn’t notice until arrive and the staff walk me there and show me its around the corner (its reasonable price compare to the nearby parking).
Even surprise all the meals are included, from breakfast to dinner, which is presented as buffet, so convenient that we could slot when to eat before going out.
The bath tub is huge and nice, which my wife love to use.
Overall this hotel is a must try in the city
This is the coolest hotels I have stayed at in Japan. Newly renovated over the past year, with modern Italian details, very stylish.
It’s walking distance to the Hakata station and all the major shopping areas such as Canal city and Tenejin.
The room is spacious by Japanese standard, we booked the king bed room. Modern and neutral decorations, clean and fresh, with excellent bright soothing lighting.
Everyone at the hotel is sooo nice and made sure every aspect of the stay is comfortable and welcoming.
The unique feature is the hotel is that it includes all day dining. The food selection is abundant, and the bakery and dessert section are comparable to any French bakery and patisserie, it had the best strawberry cream puff.
Overall, it’s an alright hotel. Trendy and spacious that offers breakfast and dinner. I felt that they had more English speaking staffs compared to the more local hotels.
Unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing. Butler was very lovely and helpful with luggage. However there is this Japanese guy, I’m guessing some sort of manager? His attitude was rather rude and unpolite. To start with he stopped some of my friends going up to the rooms because they didn’t carry their door keys to the room. So I had to come down to pick them
We chose this hotel because we stayed at one of the company’s other hotels, The Knot in Hiroshima, and had such a wonderful experience; their staffer Charlie recommended we stay at Il Palazzo and we were grateful he did.
While The Knot has everything fun on the top floor, this hotel has everything fun on B1. And given some of the 4-star rated hotels we’ve stayed in, this I consider a 5-star.
The hotel is in a great location with so much nearby. It’s beautiful and the rooms are big, super comfortable and with a phenomenal western bed!! But the best part was honestly the staff. Our room included complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner and there we met to Mr. Tomoyuki Kuwata (Tomosan) who was incredibly kind and helpful! Serrah and the other staff (I’m sorry not to remember their names) were always smiling and asking to help.
