We enjoyed our stay here. The location is very good and easy walk to many attractions and transportation. Smaller rooms, but very clean and accomdating.
Highly recommend this place. This is my third time to use this hotel, but everything is in a perfect balance, including the location (literally next to the Nakasu-area), amenities, and the price.
Thank you so much for a comfortable stay. First time in Japan. Walking distance to many attractions, food and shopping. Will be back.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Nice stay by the river, close walk to Tenjin, canal city and there’s lots to eat nearby
AC however kept switching off which made the room really hot and uncomfortable to sleep in
Not much interaction with staff everything is self service
The hotel accommodated our requests to arrange adjoining rooms on a higher floor. The riverside view was vivid but tranquil. Room size was desirable comparing with average size in Japan urban area. Classic interior style but tidy.
Location was literally in the middle of the funnest nightlife district in Fukuoka! Easy walk to subway, restaurants, and all points of interest! Staff were amazingly friendly! Room was ecofriendly and had all the amenities! View (9th floor inner courtyard) was outstanding! Just a tiny bit dated but they are currently renovating (never heard a sound). Great price for 4 stars!
This hotel had an excellent stafff!
However, the room was very poor. Everything was old and in bad condition. It really was not like any Japan hotels I ever stayed at and especially for the price I paid. If it wasn’t for the excellent hotel staff it would have been a terrible experience.
I will not likely ever stay at this hotel if I can help it. It’s an old hotel that needs a major remodeling. Bath room had that cheap hotel smell that’s unique to Japan. It was not unclean but had that peculiar smell that was offensive to your nose. Breakfast was exceptional and was just about the only thing I could recommend about this establishment.

Old hotel in Host/Hostess club District
This hotel is dated. They have an overpriced restaurant or two. I'm not sure why it's considered 4 stars. The hotel is clean, and the rooms are clean, but the amenities are scarce, and water isn't even provided. No bottles or a water filter to refill your own bottles. It's a very short walk to public transportation, but the hotel is definitely in an "entertainment" district. Just outside are plenty of hostess clubs, "information centers", etc. If that's your thing, then this is the right place.
The staff tries to be helpful, and often succeeds, but sometimes, fails at being too eager. If you want your room made up, you're supposed to put a magnet outside your door before 11:00am. We put ours out at 9:50, and a maid was knocking on our door 10 mins later. We explained we'd be leaving in 5-10 mins and closed the door. When we opened the door to leave, she was just waiting there. It was awkward.
Room was very clean and had everything you need. The staff were very helpful & friendly. Breakfast could have been better by changing the menu evry other day at least (stayed 6 nights and menu was the same everyday) don’t get me
wrong, the food was excellent! Will robably stay here again.
