Appreciated the spacious private room option at this hostel. We arrived late and with language barrier it took a bit to locate parking area at night. Also not many restaurants near here open late so plan ahead. The staff and accommodations were fabulous. We would definitely stay again to further explore the breathtaking Lake Kawaguchi/Fujikawaguchiko area!

Visit to Mount Fuji area
This place is amazing. Our room was very spacious and modern with a nice view to the mountains. We have a private bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and they also have a dinner menu that we tried and were satisfied with the price and food quality. The staff is really friendly and the location super convenient, only 250 meters away from the bus station and the magnificent Oishi Park across street from the bus stop. We are glad we picked Dot Hostel for our stay close to Mount Fuji.

Very clean and comfortable hostel, we booked for a family of 4, room had 4 huge bunk beds, with large table, a sofa and 2 chairs. Extremely comfortable. Washing machine and dryer available as well. You need to inform the hostel 3 days in advance if you want to have breakfast or bbq. Parking is about 5 mins walk away, it is pretty dark when you walk back to the hostel from the parking lot. You'll definitely need a car to travel around the area. Oishi park is just across the street. Overall a very pleasant stay.

My family and I had a lovely stay. The room was very clean and well maintained. We stayed in the family room with shared toilet and but it was not so bad because the T/B was just across our room. We arranged pick up from the station to accommodate our group but I was not sure why there three other people booked so my family did not have enough space in the shuttle. Anyway, they arranged another car to pick up the rest of the group so everything went well in the end. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. I would love to come back again.

Comfy hostel
Nice hostel, friendly staff. The beds are comfy and clean but could do with black out blinds. The location is a bit further out from the centre of town, which is nice if you want a bit of peace and quiet. There is a bus stop nearby at the Oishi park. Glad I stayed here in low season when there weren't too many other guests.

A great base for the Mount Fuji area.
Dot Hostel was great. We stayed for 2 nights when visiting the Mount Fuji area and were very happy with our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were new, very clean and a good size. There was a really handy shuttle that took us to the Kawaguchiko station in the mornings and even picked us up again later in the day. This really helped with cost as the hotel is not in the easiest area to access via public transport. The place was super value for money and we would not hesitate to stay again or recommend this place to others.

This hostel was a great place for us to stay. It's a very new hostel so is in very good condition. We had a private room with a bathroom which was very nice, good facilities. In the evening the hostel had a "Takoyaki Night" where we sat in the communal area and made takayaki's with the staff and other guests. That was great fun. The staff also helped to warm up some Sake that we'd brought and served it up in the proper Sake cups. Great fun. Near to the hostel is the "Natural Living Centre" which is a really nice place to walk around and see some lovely flowers.The lake itself is also very nice and should give a good view of Mount Fuji on a clear day. It was at the last stop on the "Redline" bus that you take from Kawaguchiko Station and about a 3 minute walk from the station. The hostel staff also took us back to the Kawaguchiki station in the morning, which saved us a lot of money! Definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for something a bit lower cost than other hotels in the area. The only issue we had is with the cost of the Red Line bus. The cost from Kawaguchiko Station to the hostel was almost 500 yen per person, for a 30-minute bus ride! If the hostel could provide a more frequent shuttle service that would be awesome!

This is good for value even it is more far away from the main station. People is nice. Beware of buying foods as there is limited restaurant around.

部屋は新しくきれいだったが、外国人男性が女性のシャワールームに入りそうなところに遭遇して注意した。トイレも入り口の男性、女性表記をもっと大きくして頂けたらありがたいですね

河口湖北岸的優質旅宿
旅宿就位於大石公園附近（離公車站步行不到5分鐘），不論是賞景或是覓食購物都頗方便。 房間部分，我這次住的是有衛浴設備的房間，房間寬敞明亮整潔舒適。民宿裡也附設廚房和飲料吧台，可以自炊，也可以點飲料至交誼廳與其他住客聊天，整體氣氛很好。服務人員英文能力不錯，而且頗親切，有問題多可溝通處理。

食事がガッカリ
建物は新しく、遠目は綺麗なように見えた。 布団も綺麗に畳んであり、清潔なシーツがあった。 しかし、シャワー室のカゴの下や脱衣室の隅に髪の毛などがあり、清潔さに欠けたところがあった。 部屋に入るとハウスダストなのか一日中鼻水が止まらなくなった。一睡もできなかった。 何よりがっかりしたのは食事です。 夜7時ごろに到着し、チェックインを済ませた後すぐに食事を頼んだ。料金を払った後に、今混んでいるので、20分くらいお時間をいただきますと言われたが、20分なら待とうと思った。強いて言うなら、お金を払う前に言って欲しかったが。 カルボナーラ2つとペペロンチーノとポテトフライとカレーライスを頼んだ。しかし、出来上がったのは50分後にポテトフライ、60分後にカレーライス(レトルト食品ぽいもの)、70分後にパスタ(冷凍食品ぽいもの)が出てきた。 子供も含め、大人もお腹が空いていたので、遅いのにも腹が立っていたが、初めは文句も言わず食べた。しかし、パスタ３品は、レトルトの解凍方法間違えたのか、袋のまま単に茹ですぎたのか、べちゃべちゃと粘土みたいな舌触りで食べれるものではなかった。味は大手レトルトパスタの味。 お腹が空きながらだいぶ待たされたのに、この出来上がりは非常にがっかりでした。 その事実をスタッフの方に告げると全額返金してくれたのはありがたかった。 しかしながら、近くのコンビニは夜8時までなので、何も買えず、食べられず、子供も大人もお腹が空いたまま寝ることになった。 翌朝の朝食は8:30からしかやってないと言うことだったので、急いでいて、かつ、昨日の夜ご飯の程度のものしか出て来ないだろうと思い、朝食付きのプランにしてあったが、朝食を食べずにチェックアウトした。 外国人の方がとても多かったので、ここで食べた食事のせいで日本の食事が不味かったと思われるのではないかとすごく心配をした。 この投稿で宿の食事が改善されることを切に願います。

清潔なきれいな部屋、湯船も大きめで快適に過ごしました。仕事先の近くということで予約しました。 早朝.大石公園へ散歩.目前に大きく富士山が望め（ホテルからは見えませんでいたが）気持ちよかったです。 次回の仕事時ように予約して帰りました。

とても綺麗なお部屋で過ごしやすかったです！ バーが20時までしかやっていなく行けなかったことが残念です…。また、駐車場の場所を公式HPや旅行サイトにも載せてもらえるといいと思いました！事前に何個か不明点がありましたが、当日はとっても楽しめました！ありがとうございました！

静かで綺麗
洋室スーペリアに宿泊しました。トイレ、バスもあり、パジャマ以外の物はあります。ベッドは1人ずつダブルで寝心地も最高。しっかりと食事を取りたい方は外で済ませてからのチェックインをお勧めします。また、駅からも遠く、周りにはほぼ何もない所なので、予定がタイトな場合には不向きかと思います。娘と2人だったのですが、グランピングもできるらしく、娘はそちらに興味があったようです。 ユースホステルとは思えないほどのクオリティでした。

とても綺麗で清潔、河口湖大石公園まで徒歩数分のロケーション、最高でした。場所が分かりづらいので迷いました。24時間営業のコンビニが徒歩圏内に無いので事前の買い出しをお勧めします。また利用したいです！

いろんなタイプのお部屋がありますが、お風呂がついている部屋で家族で泊まりました。 全てよかったのですが、部屋に冷蔵庫は欲しかった。 施設は新しく綺麗です。 駐車場が少し遠いので不便ですが、それ以外はいいと思います。

お勧めです。
大石公園からの近く、ホテルも新しい事もありますが 洗面所、シャワー室トイレが男女別で、安心して利用できました。何よりも若いスタッフさんのお持て成しが、とても爽やかで、良かった。ドミトリーということで余り期待していなかったのですが、掃除も行き届いており、寝具シーツも綺麗で完璧でした。 又来たいと思います。
