The hotel is located on a hill overlooking Mt Fuji
When you go through the majestic gate a garden with a BBQ and a bonfire spreads out and a villa is built on top of it
If you listen carefully in the quiet forest you can hear the sound of the river flowing right in front of you
2 cars can be parked on the premises
The spacious villa can accommodate 8 people
In addition to the dining room living room kitchen and two bedrooms there are also two bathrooms so you can relax and forget the hustle and bustle of the city
Enjoy the majestic view of Mt Fuji while relaxing in the reclining chairs in your room
5 minutes by car to Lake Kawaguchiko Kawaguchiko Station is about 20 minutes away by car
The facility is managed by Auberge Mermaid a French restaurant located at the foot of the hill
Customers with reservations will be given priority to enjoy their meals at the restaurant
If you make a reservation in advance catering service to the facility is also possible / Since our hotel is located in a summer resort it can sometimes feel a little cold at night even in midsummer We want you to enjoy the natural breeze so air conditioning is only installed in the bedrooms on the second floor
We would be happy if you could experience the climate of Yamakawaguchiko for yourself

Modern Japanese style home

I would have rated this property 5 stars if it wasn’t for a total lack of communication from the property manager. This property was new on VRBO and we took a chance by booking it even though it had no reviews. Our credit card was promptly charged on January 21, 2025 for our 3 days stays scheduled to start April 11. As our trip was approaching I kept expecting communication about the check in process.
