"Great view and spacious room. It was the biggest room of our trip though the fuji room is outdated compared to the one with a private bath and mountain view. Bath tube is small for bigger Americans but public baths are nice and makes up for it. "
"We had a large room with a beautiful lake view! Great amenities and Oncen (indoor and outdoor) friendly staff and very good breakfast. Highly recommended. "
"We had the pleasure of staying at the Fuji Premium Resort for 10 nights. The room was very spacious and in a quiet part of the Kawaguchiko area. The hotel provided regular shuttle service to and from key points in town so we did not miss having a car rental. The buffet breakfast was very good with numerous options. The best part of this hotel though is the friendly and super helpful staff. We hope to return sooner than later 😁"
"The facilities were clean and well-maintained. Great view of Mt. Fuji. Decent breakfast buffet options like curry rice, potato salad, some continental options like scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon.
A specific male front desk staff was rude and lacked customer service acumen. The rest of the staff at breakfast and cleaning the room were all very polite and kind.
Do also note that they do not assist to store luggage without paying an extra fee."
"We stayed in the Annex two buildings down, not in the hotel. We had a group of 4 so wanted a larger space for everyone. There were two beds and two futons, plus a couch. Both the beds and futons were extremely hard and none of slept at all. We were also woken up at 8am by construction on the building which we were not notified in advance of. We had a kaiseki dinner at the hotel the first night which was just ok. The staff did not explain anything about what we were eating and seemed uncomfortable talking with foreigners. We ate a lot of what we didnt know what we were eating and it seemed to be more about varying textures than taste. We did not get the breakfast or use the onsens. We did get a massage that spa which was very nice however with the hard beds, I feel like it was cancelled out. There is no view of fuji but can see the lake from the private entrance. It was fully stocked with housewares, two bathrooms, one shower and an overly large cedar bathtub that we did not use. "
"Our stay at La Vista Fujikawaguchiko was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They also provide pajamas/loungewear, which were extremely comfortable and a nice extra touch. We loved having a balcony with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji, especially in the morning and at sunset.
The onsen and public baths were relaxing, and we especially enjoyed the private onsens as well.
The location was peaceful and quiet, with gorgeous scenery all around. I highly recommend taking advantage of the hotel shuttle service to get to and from Kawaguchiko Station, as getting Ubers was more difficult than not, especially for a larger group.
The nearest FamilyMart and 7-Eleven are about a mile away, so the breakfast buffet is definitely worth adding to your stay. There was a wide variety of options, and it was a great way to start the day before heading out.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. Honestly, this was the best stay of all the places we visited in Japan. We would definitely stay at La Vista Fujikawaguchiko again."
