"Generally a really nice place, with highlights being:
- very friendly staff and kids club (the entertainment team are great)
- great pool and facilities, particularly for families
but a couple of things let it down:
- the restaurant food is really variable in quality and consistently expensive compared to local restaurants. Berenjenas, secreto iberico and bravas all really good, the cachopo and breakfasts are awful.
- restaurant service is exceptionally slow, even when quiet. It took over an hour for us to get 2 toasties in the morning when only 3 tables were seated.
- it is unexpectedly noisy at night, at least on the periphery area where we were. Wouldn't recommend staying if you are a light sleeper.
Overall, as someone who regularly goes to Fuengirola, I would stay here again for a family holiday but there are definitely better options available."
