5-Star Lux Modern Cabin in DT Fruita ❊ Dog Friendly❊

  • You will love this charming, recently remodeled, 1930’s cabin in city centre Fruita. The backyard is shaded and has ample space for both kids and dogs to play and a great BBQ spot. The living room is spacious and the kitchen is fully stocked for whatever feast you have planned. The dining room has a wood burning fireplace and the perfect spot after a long day of skiing or biking to relax and dine. With families in mind, Maple is fully equipped with board games, toys, a pack in play and high chair.

    We fully comply with the City of Fruita short term rental requirements and have completed and passed a thorough safety check.

    City of Fruita licence #0038-21.

    The backyard has both a grill and patio furniture for outdoor dining, yard is enclosed for animals. The parking is ample and gated- allows for an RV, large vehicles or caravans. The living room is spacious with seating for minimum 6, a bar and breakfast nook for eating. The kitchen is stocked and includes kid friendly cutlery and a high chair. The dining room is part of the original cabin and has a wood burning fireplace and seating for 6.

    BIKE STORAGE & GEAR
    Maple has a secure, enclosed bike storage shed. Guests are also welcome to use our CXWXC adjustable bike repair/work stand and our Topeak JoeBlow Max HP floor pump (up to 160 psi; fits Presta, Schrader and Dunlop valves), both kept in the shed.

    PLEASE NOTE: Bicycles are NOT included with the rental. Any bikes you see in photos of the storage shed were there only to show the space and are not available for guest use. The shed is for securely storing the bikes you bring with you.

I've traveled to Fruita for a bike trip every year for several years and stayed at many different places. This is an outstanding house. Everything you need, nothing you don't, walking distance to downtown, responsive host. I'd love to book this location again in the future.

Great bike trip to Fruita!

We’ve stayed here now two years in a row for our annual bike trip. The property is in the perfect location, spacious and clean. We had a great time! It had everything we needed and a great backyard space to enjoy. We will be back next year!

Great HQ for Mountain Biking

I recommend this property! It's nice and clean with darts/games in the backyard. Just a short walk from downtown and close to the many trail systems around to mountain bike.

Perfect getaway house for a small family

We were in town for our son's wedding, and this house was absolutely perfect, both inside and out. It's charming, with a spacious living area that opens up to a very large backyard that we definitely took advantage of to relax with a glass of wine, and play some ping-pong too. I hope to return soon!

Great for a family

We really enjoyed the backyard along with its dart board and ping pong table. The gathering area was great for our group. Only negative would be the small 4th bedroom that only had access through the 3rd bedroom. Would work great for a group of children or parents with young children but made the 4 bedrooms a little difficult for us. Thanks for the great place to stay while we enjoyed Fruita with our family!

Quick Stay in Fruita

We came to town for the dinosaur museum and dig and originally planned on camping. When the weather called for multiple 100+ degree days we changed plans and stayed at this sweet cabin in town. Walking distance to town where you’ll find ice cream, great pizza, and excellent coffee as well as several bike shops and cute stores. Also close to a large park with a small playground and lots of ball fields. We loved the location and Miquela was an excellent host, checking in throughout our stay to ensure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend!

Great location with easy walkability to town and plenty of space for 4 guys on a cycling trip. We all enjoyed our time and happily got an early table at Hot Tomato Pizza! Only suggestion would be a new drip coffee maker.
