The biggest problem we had were the stairs to the bedroom, and if you have to use the bathroom you will be using them to descend from the loft beds. They are very narrow very steep and the bannister has come loose. "Very good stay in St Valery. The cottage was well situated, just a short walk along the river to everything. The peace was only broken by the train at the end of the garden and a seal having his breakfast outside one morning! "We had a really good stay and found the accommodation extremely good with the single exception of parking - this is complicated and not free (unless you want a 20 minute walk to your car) but, given how central it is, close to the square, shops and restaurants, this wasn't a problem. There are lots of great walks and a trip on the railway is a must! The owners have prepared a very detailed and comprehensive set of guides, so everyone will find something they like.
