Lovely place

It is a lovely place with a nice garden and pool. You have almost everything in the kitchen if you like to cook. We had a good time at Casa Rosa.

A perfect stay

Casa Rosa is in a lovely location. The villa is as described and the village of Frigiliana which is nearby has a good selection of shops and restaurants. Stephen was quick to respond with a minor issue with a sink.

It’s really a charming little place to stay with a great outdoor space and the upstairs bedroom windows open up all the way so you can let lots of air in. Parking is a little minimal so a large vehicle is not recommended. It is near the sea so there’s a little bit of a damp smell but all the windows open up and there’s a nice breeze. If you like beer there’s a little pub right there in the complex. Complex is on a main road between Frigiliana and Nerja so go for going both directions.

Incredibly special vacation at Casa Rosa!

My daughter and I had an amazing week staying at the incredibly special Casa Rosa. The villa exceeded our expectations and was the perfect combination of old world charm and modern comfort. Frigiliana is just a stone's throw away and was a perfect place to explore, shop and dine. And Nerja being just down the road was perfect for beaches and larger grocery stores and amenities, etc. Stephen was very responsive to our needs while we were there and we had an incredibly relaxing and luxurious week at this beautiful villa in a stunning setting. I wish we were still there and I would go back in a heartbeat.

La puerta principal de la entrada antigua desencajada y la cerradura rota no se podia cerrar, solo hay aire acondicionado en la habitacion principal, en el resto de la casa un calor insoportable,el coche se aparca en la calle cuando hay sitio,muebles antiquisimos,mucho ruido en la segunda habitacion da a la carretera,no apta para personas con movilidad reducida

Es war im großen und Ganzen okay.Bis auf ein paar Punkte:. In neue Klo-Bürsten investieren . Es gibt im ganzen Haus nur eine Klimaanlage und ist sehr Veraltet und sehr laut, hier muss auch investiert werden. Eingangstür hinterlässt kein sicheres Gefühl

Casa Rosa

Wir haben uns in der Casa Rosa sehr wohlgefühlt. Stephen hat uns super mit Infos zur Umgebung und den Ausflugszielen versorgt. Wir kamen schon vormittags an und durften schon früh einchecken. Leider war die Straße in einem der Schlafzimmer recht laut zu hören. Wir haben uns trotzdem gut erholt und hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.

Pleasant stay

We enjoyed our stay and really enjoyed the quiet location. The pool and the courtyard were perfect for hanging out and for evening Bbq. The only thing I would say is that the house has air conditioning, however it is only located in the upstairs bedroom which in July made the main floor bedroom impossible to sleep in (we hauled the mattresses upstairs and all slept in one room). Overall, our family had a really nice holiday.

Vraiment magnifique !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Casa Rosa avec nos 2 enfants de 1 et 6 ans. La maison est grande est confortable, la terrasse ombragée, la piscine et les bougainvilliers... un vrai petit coin de paradis dont nous avons bien profité. La localisation est top, Frigiliana est un magnifique village, les plages sont également proches, c'est un bon endroit pour visiter la région. Stephen est très réactif et arrangeant, nous avons même eu un petit cadeau de bienvenue. Seul petit bémol, la chambre des enfants n'avait pas la clim et avec les chaleurs du mois d'août il y faisait très chaud ! Nous espérons pouvoir revenir !

Maravillosa estancia!!

Han sido unos días inolvidables. La casa increíble y decorada con mucho gusto. La hemos disfrutado muchísimo y tener una piscina para nosotros solos ha sido un lujo. Es perfecta para relajarse y disfrutar. Por poner un pero, decir que solo hay aire acondicionado en la habitación de arriba y si fueran 4 personas en verano en la habitación de abajo hace demasiado calor. Nosotros no lo sufrimos porque solo fuimos yo y mi pareja y estuvimos en la panta de arriba, así que sin problema! Esto si no es en periodo de calor, tampoco sería un problema. Frigiliana es un pueblo super bonito y especial y lleno de encanto. Volveríamos sin dudarlo! Gracias por todo Stephen! Nos veremos el año que viene!!

La vivienda es una maravilla, y la piscina un regalo en esta época del año. Asimismo, la ubicación, que no es en el núcleo urbano de Frigiliana es acertada, ya que resulta infinitamente más tranquila. Muy recomendable

Christmas at casa Rosa

Charming quirky property. Very accommodating host. We were there for Christmas so the beautiful outdoor space and pool area we didn’t use. However we did need a comfortable indoor area. The sitting room needs furniture updating, there is only one sofa which is ancient and uncomfortable. The kitchen needs an upgrade in terms of the old cooker and oven which were troublesome for us. We didn’t let these issues spoil our stay as in general we had great family time and the wood fuelled fireplace was wonderful for us.

Casa Rosa is absolutely beautiful. The pool and terrace are perfect for a relaxing family holiday.

Casa Rosa is a beautiful house in the hamlet of La Molinetta. With a welcoming friendly bar nearby where we soon made many friends! The town of Frigiliana is stunning and an easy, short bus or drive away. Amazing little streets and shops, fabulous restaurants and incredible views. We loved it here and would absolutely recommend Casa Rosa to anyone! Stephen was the perfect host, very helpful and on hand should we need him. We didn’t want to leave!

Lovely old house in a beautiful village

Casa Rosa is a delightful historic house - very well equipped with helpful friendly management. Unfortunately we had a couple of days of heavy rain during our stay and old houses, although charming are not necessarily waterproof! We spent a fair bit of time with the mop and bucket during the rain, to stop the water ruining the lovely wooden floor. However we were unlucky in this respect, and when it's dry it's beautiful!

Gemütliches Domizil mit guter Lage

Schöne, gut ausgestattete Wohnung in der Nähe von Frigiliana. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht, insbesondere die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Der Vermieter kümmert sich im Vorfeld gut, so dass keine Fragen offen bleiben. Die Lage ist gut, (Auto-)Minuten nach Frigiliana, 10 nach Nerja - Córdoba ist in gut 2 h zu erreichen, Granada in ca 1 h.

February get away at La Molineta

We had the most beautiful weather at La Molineta, the days were very sunny, and we relaxed and read books, of which there is a great supply at the house. The house in itself was very nice, but we were very early season, and we were not prepared for how cold it would be in the late afternoon and evening, and lighting the wood burner every evening in the sitting room was certainly a necessity rather than a nice to have. There were some at the house, but we needed to purchase four large sacks for our two week stay. The upstairs bedroom was also lovely, but cold, with as promised a wonderful view from the terrace off the bathroom. The electric blanket unfortunately did not work on our arrival, and was not replaced until the last few days of our holiday, there was also no additional heat in that room apart from a very weak heat from the air con unit. But Stephen purchased a new oil heater also in the last few days which made a big difference. We wanted to eat at home, we enjoy cooking, and the available produce in the area is extremely good. However, we had many problems with the hob, with gas blowouts occuring regularly. Several things were changed but they did not solve the problem, and in the end we did most of our cooking in the oven. The hob needs replacing. The girls who came in to clean were fantastic and very thorough. The terrace was lovely with several sun loungers, an extremely private area catching all of the sunshine. In the late afternoon we moved up to the upstairs terrace for a last cup of tea in the sun. In the summer to sit outside and eat under the shaded area would be wonderful, where there were beautiful climbing plants and a nice BBQ. I think we just came a bit too early! It would be a delight in the summer months, the furnishings were good, the bed very comfy, especially after the new electric blanket had been received! Stephen was very nice, and very helpful, and we really appreciated him for trying to make our early stay at La Molineta a nice one.

A stunning traditional house with breath taking views from every angle .

The first thing that struck me when getting home was how much I missed the colours . Sunrise through the beautiful bedroom window was worth waking up early for . Breakfast on the terrace , watching the colours change over the sea and mountains, was to be savoured . Sun bathing around the gorgeous pool area with the contrasting colours of a vibrant blue sky , white washed walls and the deep pink Bougainvillea will not be forgotten . G and T on the little bedroom terrace, at the front of the house , catching the last bit of sun over the mountains with my sister watching life go by .... heaven ! Thanks for everything Stephen. Good to see you again .

A slice of heaven!

Casa Rosa exceeded all expectations. Initial impressions arriving late at night was of a homely traditional house, full of possibilities. The welcome bottle of wine was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Morning 1 allowed for full exploration of the house and garden - and all the extras. Beautiful balcony with fantastic views from the bedroom - great place for morning coffee or evening vino!. The outdoor patio area and pool provided much pleasure day and evening. We so looked forward to coming 'home' to the pool after exploring Frigliana and surrounding areas. The house is very well equipped and easy to live in. The house and garden are very clean and well maintained. Casa Rosa is a great base for exploring both the coast and inland areas of southern Granada.Thank you Stephen for providing such a wonderful house for our holiday. We certainly hope to be back.
