"A really nice traditional hotel in the hills close to Frigiliana and above Nerja. Our room was large with a nice balcony with views down to the coast. The bathroom was also large. There's a nice pool at the hotel and the restaurant is very good with lovely home cooked food available in the evening (and nice views at sunset) and a good quality breakfast. The hotel is fully accessible with a ramp at the entrance and lift to all floors. Also a nice indoor pool and sauna at an additional fee. A good choice if you want to be away from the tourists at the coast."

"The property was spotless on arrival and so easy to check in. The house is absolutely lovely, perfect location to get to Frigiliana and Nerja, only a few minutes away in a car. "We had a lovely stay, three friends in a wonderful house with quirky interior and very comfortable. Perfect place to look around the area and enjoy the beach and the culture and returning to lounge around the pool with drinks in a relaxing environment. Stephen the host could not have been more helpful and flexible which was very refreshing. Great break and highly recommended."

"Quiet and clean"

"Let’s start with the negatives - there are none. This property comes with literally everything you need. From seasoning to straw hats, from pasta to privacy. It is a stunning home from home with the most breathtaking of views. Nestled in the hills above Frigiliana, La Quinta is pure sanctuary, hosted by the most wonderful couple who are incredibly generous with their time and attentiveness. From the booking process to ongoing communication and directions to La Quinta, our journey went as smoothly as could be, even with our late inbound flight, both Nick and Mannou were there to meet and greet us in the early hours. They even did some shopping for us so that we didn’t have to run to the shops, not that we’d have needed to; all the essentials were already there. La Quinta is a stunning Spanish Villa, almost Finca like, in a gated and quiet area. Parking is easy and safe as is getting unloaded and settled in. The swimming pool is fantastic, there is a BBQ, air conditioning, laundry facilities and a kitchen laden with every utensil possible. Both bedrooms are next to a bathroom/shower room each, one of which also has a bath tub. The lounge area is so comfortable with TV and all the channels you need in every language. We fell in love with La Quinta, and with its perfect hosts and we will be returning regularly, even out of season."

"This stay marked a long awaited return to this amazing property and we cannot wait to go back! It is so beautifully appointed, equipped and maintained both inside and out, with great attention to detail. The flowers in the bedroom including fragrant jasmine were a lovely touch. Both Carmen and Alfonso were extremely considerate and welcoming. The village of Frigiliana is walkable and since our first visit, a footpath has been constructed along the main road making it safer to wander down to the pretty village to its many bars, restaurants and shops. I have to be honest, having visited the area before, we didn’t spend too much time away from the villa as we wanted to make the most of our stunning surroundings! "My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this casita. It was a well-equipped one-bedroom place, perfect for a couple. The highlight for us was the beautiful garden, a lovely spot to relax and soak up the sun. The location was also great. While situated on a main road so there was some traffic noise, it was manageable and didn't disrupt our sleep. The walk to the charming Old Town of Frigiliana was just 15 minutes, which we found convenient for exploring the area. Overall, this casita provided a great base for exploring Frigiliana and the surrounding area. We would definitely consider staying here again."

"This villa is truly truly beautiful. Spotlessly clean and everything you will need supplied. The owners were amazing too - responding really quickly to every query, and doing everything to make sure our stay was perfect. The view from the top bedroom across the mountains is unforgettable. Lots of room inside, with a gorgeous separate lounge. Outside was blissful, and the pool was just amazing. So well looked after and tastefully furnished throughout. No one will forget a stay at this absolutely beautiful villa. We know the area well so were prepared for the challenging access by car - you have to expect that for such a beautiful tranquil location.
