Great getaway

Stayed with my girlfriend and two dogs. Did a lot of local hiking with the pups and they enjoyed it just as much as we did. Fires at night were great overall a very enjoyable stay.

Everything we needed for a relaxing week!

This was a great spot to stay for our very chill family vacation in the area - we were 15/20 minutes away from tubing, hiking, horse riding, & more. We were happy to be able to cook our own meals and have some nice campfires. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

Fun at the lake

Great little 70’s style house in the pine woods

House was well stocked with everything you might need. Comfortable beds, good wi-fi and TV. I did not enjoy the wonderful deck as much as I would have liked because of the many mosquitos however.

Cozy little cottage!

Great location, wonderful communication with owner, very clean and cozy. I was by myself but you could easily sleep husband and wife and 3-5 kids. Saw two fawns in the backyard 2 nights in a row, beautiful wooded area and quiet. Highly recommend!

There aren't enough stars to rate this rental. Amazing location, Amazing hosts. This was the first time I've been able to take my family for a short vacation and we made the perfect choice. Cozy, Spotless Getaway

I enjoyed staying at this home for a weekend getaway with just me and my dog. Everything was comfy, well-equipped, and very clean. The kitchen was perfect to prepare some simple meals. My one very minor complaint is that the tv didn’t work. It seemed like the WiFi signal was not strong enough to support the Roku. I was hoping to be able to watch some trash tv while knitting but I had to do so in my phone. Oh well! Maybe you don’t care about that. Otherwise it was fantastic.

Great base for fishing trip

We picked this house because it was close to both Castle Rock and Petenwell Lake for a guided fishing trip. We didn't know what lake we'd end up on until the day before so this was close to both county park boat launches. We ended up on Petenwell, which was a quick 20 min straight shot north. As for the home, it was very easy to find, easy to get in, clean, very quiet, and private! We enjoyed the firepit both nights and cooked some chicken wings on the charcoal grill one night too. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had just about everything we needed. However, we couldn't find any measuring cups or pot holders but we made do with what was provided. Overall, we were very happy with this house and it's location. Thank you for letting us stay. If we're up that way again we would definitely stay another time.
