Nice hotel

This was a nice hotel directly in front of the old city Walls. The room was nice, and the bathroom was good. It would have been even better if we had been avle to make a cup og coffee or tea in the room.

Room for improvement

Even though I don’t think it was intentional our check-in was a bit off putting. The air conditioning or fan didn’t work, quite stuffy so we had to leave windows open all night. Only one low pillow, found this uncomfortable even though bed comfortable. Carpets quite stained. Breakfast was 27CHF ($46 AUD each) felt this was very expensive. Pleased there was plenty of free parking. Easy walk into town centre.

One of the few hotels I could find with a 24-hour reception desk. We took a very late train into town, and the hotel we originally booked had no way of accommodating us if we arrived after 10:00 pm.

Not worth the price you pay for

Hotel was going under renovation when visited and it was a bit messy. Rooms were just OK but didn't feel comfortable. Breakfast was basic. But for this price you expect far far far more. Wouldn't stay again. Not the quality you pay for.

Reception asked if we wanted advice on where to eat, we declined but we only found one restaurant open as most places are closed on Mondays. Mercure has a bar but was closed. Mercure has a restaurant but was closed. The next morning we were asked if we enjoyed are stay and said yes but room was very hot. We were then told air-con will not be installed until end of 2023. Not impressed.

Ottimo albergo in buona posizione, non lontano dal centro. Camera piccola ma con tutti i comfort, molto piacevole la macchina per il caffè. Comodissimo il parcheggio gratuito.

Om du er glad likegyldige og uoppmerksomme resepsjonister, spise frokost til 650 kr, varme soverom som det ikke er mulig å få under 20 grader, liker kirkeklokker som ringer kontinuerlig gjennom hele natten bare meter fra rommet ditt, liker trafikk fra gaten som ligger ved hotellet, og ikke minst liker buldring og bråk fra anleggsmaskiner utenfor rommet ditt (regner dessverre med at det er forbipasserende) kl 06.30 om morgenen, ja, da er dette hotellet noe for deg. Løp og kjøp.

Mieux vaut avoir des voisins.pas trop bruyants: ma chambre était très mal insonorisée. Sinon c'est ok dans l'ensemble...Je trouve que c'est déjà un peu cher pour les prestations...mais en plus il vous faudra rajouter 27 francs pour le petit déjeuner...le beurre et l'argent du beurre de la tartine!

2 nuits à Fribourg

J'aime beaucoup le confort de cette chaîne d'hôtel, néanmoins, j'ai choisi une chambre supérieure avec un grand lit avec une majoration du prix bien sûr, l'hôtel a attribué une chambre qui n'était pas de cette catégorie. Sinon la chambre était plutôt propre bien qu'il restait de petits morceaux de tissus sur la moquette, pas super propre, et un rafraichissement de la peinture serait nécessaire au vu des nombreuses traces noires sur les murs. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner est très bien.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer, da war es uns zu kalt. Wir haben gefragt, ob es möglich ist die Heizung im Zimmer höher zustellen. Uns wurde sofort ein anderes Zimmer Angeboten. Das war sehr nett und wir haben das sehr geschätzt. Vielen Dank.
