Fantastic Bungalow

I enjoyed at Brambles times, I would recommend this bungalow to everyone. Perfect size for me and my family, had everything I needed for my weeks holiday.

Wonderful Holiday

Wonderful holiday, the bungalow was very clean and had everything and more, we had a really lovely time the children really enjoyed themselves, the site was very peaceful and the neighbours were really friendly and very helpful.

Lyttle house in a great location

We had a great stay. House is v. close to beach, well equipped, and had everything we need. It's not huge, has a bumpy road on the way in (which we understand is being repaired soon) but these are the only relative negatives. Loads to do nearby, and everywhere on the island is accessible. As others have commented, Dot and Barry are great - excellent neighbours.

The lyttle house

This was an ideal quiet base for our recent break on the island. The property was very clean, well maintained and is very well equipped. The arrangements re arrival and departure were excellent and the welcome pack a nice touch. We have already recommended it to a friend !

The whole process from start to finish was perfect and easy and although it was the wettest (bless the British weather) holiday I have ever been on the bungalow was lovely, well maintained and comfortable, the location was amazing. All in all an awesome experience and we are sure to be back.

A nice break

We had a lovely break and it all proved brilliant for the children. Our only criticism was our double bed. Not only was it small but extremely uncomfortable.

Lovely place to stay in a good location, very clean and well equipped.

The Lyttle house had everything in it we possibly needed to cook all our meals and feel at home. It was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean and the bed in the main bedroom was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! It was brilliant having a private beach so close (3 minute walk) and we went there before breakfast some mornings and again at teatime too and it felt safe for children. The site has good facilities such as a shop selling all the essential items, a little crazy golf course (you can hire clubs and balls from the shop) and there is also a big wooden childrens play area too. The whole site is well maintained and looks nice. We were greeted by Dot upon arrival who looks after the place and she and Eddie were so helpful during our stay and are such lovely people. We had a fantastic time and we are looking forward to going back there again.

Wonderful little home from home!

Well, what can I say! We had such a wonderful stay here and we hope to come back and stay again. The bungalow was clean and had soo many extra's that I didn't need half the things I had packed. Little touches like the soft towels, shower gel, washing up liquid, dishclothes, sponges, hand soap, tin foil, bin liners, salt and pepper, milk, squash, biscuits the list goes on! Even if you didn't need them it was nice to know they were there. The beds were very comfortable and the linen was clean and comfy. Having two children (age 7 and 2) the place was a giant playground for them, the outside space was safe and the beach was beautiful and only a 5 minute walk through the site. Gayle and Barry were excellent in providing all the information we needed for our stay and Dot and Ed next door were AMAZING! Such wonderful people and had lots of knowledge of the site and surrounding area. Overall I would certainly recommend this little bungalow to anyone, the little touches give it a big 10/10 for me!

Nice stay, with some confusion

Property is a chalet on a holiday park. Normally a short walk to the beach but unfortunately the steps from the site to the beach were damaged and so access to the beach was not possible during our stay (warning of this was communicated by the owner prior to our stay). Accomodation was good, though there were lots of cobwebs around the beds/wardrobe in the second bedroom and in the bathroom. There was some confusion between the trip booked on vrbo and the booking information sent prior to arrival. Booking information mentioned a damage Deposit payable to the lady next door, which is not required. Check out time listed as 11 o clock on vrbo booking, but immediately after 10 o clock on day of departure we were asked to leave so that the lady could start cleaning. It seems the information given to both the customer and the lady next door needs to be updated so that everyone is on the same page .

Short revoew

We didn’t have vehicle. The property is located about 1-2 km from closest pub/restaurant. No grocery store nearby. But bus is easily accessible, about 7 minute walk. Yarmouth is pretty and about 2 km away. If you are going for dinner there make reservations. There is not a sea side view, but water is close by. Swimming is tough at the beach (at least for us) due to high winds. Not sure what it is usually like. The place itself is cozy (ie small), wifi works well, and neighbor/caretaker is pleasant. The trail running/hiking is good as it is on the coastal path.

Good accommodation

Good accommodation. The dishwasher and washing machine need replacing, dishwasher is over 30 years old and washing machines bearings have gone. Clean accommodation a few bits missed but overall good. Couldn't use space outside of property for car during stay due to others parking. No coastal path or access to beach which needs to be updated on information..

Looks like as in photos. Outdated utilities as someone already mentioned that in the comments Internet is not free TV only DVD player. There are few lod movie dvds to watch. Thanks to Dot who is maintaining this outdated house in good condition

Small but ok for 3 adults

A nice little property which would ideally suit 2 adults & 2 smaller children. It is in a nice location on Linstone Chine holiday village which used to be a holiday camp by the looks of it. Very quiet but it was out of season & busied up during half term week. The property has one double bedroom & a second bedroom with two single beds. Lounge/kitchen with some of the appliances dated but in working order. A launderette is on site but is pretty basic - the driers just heat the clothes up! It was an ok stay - thanks to Dot for the help!

From the advertisement, we thought we had booked a detached bungalow, so we were a little surprised to find the property on a holiday village. The signs indicating the whole area is Brambles Chine could have been more plentiful and clearer, so it took us a while to locate the property. However, that apart, the property was clean, well-equipped and exactly as advertised. Our contact was a lovely lady called Dot, who lived next door. She was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed. We only stayed for one night but our stay was comfortable, with everything we needed.

What a great location

A lovely little chalet that is only minutes from the beach and cliff tops (for beautiful sunsets). It's well equipped and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. If you want to do a decent food shop, you do have to travel a little so be prepared for that. All in all a lovely stay.

We were a bit surprised when we realised that the property was a chalet. It didn’t portray that in the advert. However, that said we had a lovely break, great location. Dot and Eddie were welcoming.

Great location & impeccably clean!

Such a nice treat to stay in an owner’s accommodation with their own personal touchs! Impeccably clean, a great size and with everything you need for a great stay. Ideal location for the beautiful beach, well revered restaurant The Hut (need to book) and the catch bus to needles park. Only £7.50 taxi to Yarmouth. All in all, fabulous 😊

Great property in the Isle of wight

Nice small property very close to the seaside and picturesque views. The property itself was very clean and everything was in working order. The whole property was small and bedrooms were smaller than originally thought! Overall it was a nice property for a short stay.
