"We loved the Dunlin! The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are lovely. We rode bikes around the property and had an excellent time! The afternoon tea was a bit overpriced for what was served, but we still enjoyed it. I would like to mention that the room rate we chose made reference to a soaking tub and separate shower and this was not the case; we only had a shower. It was a great shower! But just know that the descriptions here are not always accurate and we were a bit disappointed."

"This was one of the nicest places we have stayed in Charleston. The home was well maintained and very clean. It was a quiet area when we visited as well. People who were out walking their dogs were friendly. It was a nice paved area to walk but we had problems getting into the dock and sitting area by the water. I didn't call for help with that since it was our last day there. The TV was a bit spotty with the Xfinity connection too. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I would enjoy a return visit to this home and area. Thank You!"

"The bed in the main bedroom was very uncomfortable, and the pillows were worse. There was just a sheet of cheap foam rubber on top of the mattress which made the bed so soft you could not turn over in it without great effort. There were no wash clothes in the linens. The furniture was beat up and worn so the entire experience was very disappointing to say the least. It appears there had not been much attention to upkeep on the entire unit."
