"We always stay here. We love the tiny kitchen and it has everything two people need to make a dinner or breakfast. Close to WalMart, NY, Lowe's, Guthrie Hospital and so much more. Lot's of places to dine. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Very comfy beds."

"We enjoyed our stay. Jared and Melinda are excellent hosts and made us feel welcome. The house is beautifully built and well appointed. The original architectural details are mostly still intact on the inside of the house. It is also full of interesting artifacts and historical pieces from the original owner. The breakfast is basic fare, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee and juice. Our room, the Decker Room, was spacious and a nicely decorated. The mattress and linen could use updating and it would be nice to have another chair in the room as there was just one desk chair to sit in. Good to be aware that rooms facing the street are exposed to traffic noise, a lot truck traffic. We would stay there again. I think the owner has only owned the place a couple of years, so it will improve with each passing year. He is off to a great start."

So comfortable, the beds are amazingly comfy and lots of extra blankets if you need them. You feel like you are remote but the cute little town is only 2 minutes away with grocery store, shops and restaurants, even a nice coffee shop! Thank you Kathy for being the host with the most!! "Our worship band stayed here for a songwriting retreat and we absolutely ADORE this house. Many of us consider it our dream home. Comfortably fit 15 of us and team meals were seamless thanks to the long table, large kitchen & stove, 2 dishwashers, and lots of plates, cups, etc. The host is very responsive and kind! And the cows by the barn are the cutest. I would give 100 stars if I could - will definitely be back! :)"
