The communications with the owner were first class, and they were incredibly helpful in letting us check-in early and check-out late so that we could squeeze in additional rides on our first and last day. We have been told it’s common here and offered to buy some for the same price as room itself. It’s the 1st time we encountered this in our many travels around different countries. Not having toiletries? No problem. No dish soap? Strange having a kitchen and no dish soap to clean dished, but ok. But no...

"Firstly you need to be aware if you are booking this apartment that it doesn't have a smoke alarm fitted or a carbon monoxide detector. There must've been a smoke detector at some point as there is a fitting in the hall but no longer. That point tells you a lot about how important your safety is to the hosts, it should be illegal to rent a property without basic standard (and cheap) alarms. Positive points this apartment is in a good location, immediately next door to a ski equipment hire shop...

"We couldn't really fault the apartment. We did have an issue with one of the bathroom sinks not draining, but the Concierge Services sorted that for us. There is plenty of room, well equipped and the view form the large balcony was really nice. There was plenty of parking out front (and there is a indoor garage if needed) with stair and lift access to the apartment. The proximity to the slopes was brilliant with easy access to the main ski lifts and back to the apartment at the end of the day....

"Very strange experience ! We booked this property for a stay at New Year and as there was no snow we asked Miriam if we could cancel and stay another time instead. She agreed and we arranged a stay in June . We sent several messages between each other over the next few months and all seemed fine . We travelled all the way to the Alps from the UK in June and Miriam did not answer repeated messages we sent to her so we could not go to the apartment and had to find other accommodation . "Very central location in the old town but still very peaceful in the apartment itself! Appreciated that there were 2 fans in the property and these were already on when I arrived! That was a lovely touch and very appreciated during a very warm period!! "
