"The good-
We stayed in one of the royal palm rooms on the beach and it was beautiful. Mini split ac kept room very comfortable, nice bed and bathroom and the location on the beach was perfect. Entire resort feels very private and not crowded in any way. The views were amazing, the water was amazing, and the beachfront dinner was AMAZING(beyond worth the upgrade). The daily maid service was awesome great, leaving our room perfect everyday. Anyone saying the royal palm rooms were a far walk must be elderly and just not want to walk at all. From our room to the pool/main restaurant was literally a 2 min walk.
The not so good-
About 30-40% of the staff was friendly. The rest seemed like they did not want to be there and seemed like you were bothering them if you asked for anything. The explanation of how food works or what’s included was non existent. It took us the first 2 days of asking various staff and figuring it out for ourselves. The food itself was a 5/10. Not bad, but was edible sometimes. There is no 24/7 snack area or pool bar or beach bar. The bars are located in the restaurants.
Overall-
If you want a quiet relaxing beautiful place to unwind this is it. If you want to be pampered and have better food and amenities, this isn’t the resort for you."
The Verandah Antigua - All Inclusive - Adults Only
6/10 Okay
"The staff were definitely on island time and things were a little disorganized. The room was nice, and most of the staff were nice. There was no food or drink service at the pools. We had to ask for sodas in the restaurant multiple times, and sometimes didn't even get them before we were done eating. The beach areas were nice. The restaurant schedules were a little strange and after a certain time, there was only one place to get food. "
Pineapple Beach Club Antigua - Adults Only – All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay here. The rooms were updated and clean. We loved the close proximity to everything at the resort. We stayed in the waterfront rooms. Loved the nightly entertainment and daily activities. Most of the staff was really friendly."
"Ocean Point
Very pleasant staff. Everyone was very nice.
1-water was way too hot in our room. To wash my hair I had to use the lobby shower. After a day in the sun, showering in the room was just painful.
2-no iron in-room. You must go to iron room (sweat box) or request ironing service the day before.
3-food is very limited. I tried ordering eggs with my Caribbean breakfast option and was told it was just “not something they can do”. 1 egg!!!
4-while the site indicates : no elevator service. There are steps everywhere; only one ramp.
5-only 1 gift shop on premise. Very very limited items. Make sure you pack EVERYTHING you need.
I will not be coming back to this place. But definitely to the island!"
"Way too many kids if you're coming here childless! Was a bit surprised off holiday cycle including European outside of their holidays. And the kids ran wild in the main restaurant and pool area. We spent the 1st afternoon at pool and that was it because of how bad it was but beach was much more relaxing. Staff was mostly great but weird things happened like things not being brought after multiple requests, dishes missing large components or being completely different than the menu. Our room was fabulous. Food was fine not wow overall. Not really an LHW caliber hotel despite being a member."
COCOS Hotel - Adults Only - Caters to Couples - All Inclusive

"Incredible upscale couples only experience. The plunge pool cottage and outdoor showers were an entire experience to themselves. The food was excellent and the beach dinner was beautiful Highly recommend a stay here "
