Clarion Hotel Portland Airport ME

"Stayed at the Clarion a couple nights and even though the main lobby/pool area was clean, our room was not. When we first went into the room, there was a used bar of soap on the floor as well as the shampoo and conditioners being half way full, showing that they were used. I told the front desk and they told me they'd let housekeeping know. I never heard back from them and the soap was still there when we left (we weren't going to touch it). Also, the elevators were hit or miss. One was completely down and the second one worked one minute, not the next so you had to walk down the stairs with luggage. Not fun. One nice perk was the complimentary shuttle to different places. That was convenient when going to Old Port."

Cambria Hotel Portland Downtown-Old Port

"The Cambria is a perfect location to everything is the Old Portland area. You can walk with ease to restaurants, shopping, bike rentals, bars, etc. The property is updated, immaculate and the attendants are friendly. My only issue was the people above us kept me from sleeping. It was as if someone was jumping and stomping well into the early hours of the morning. This was our second stay and we may consider another location in the future. If you stay, request the 6th floor!"

"This hotel had everything you need. We aren't exactly 5 star travelers, but this hotel checked every box for us. It had TWO sinks! One in the bathroom and one just outside the bathroom. Drawers and a shelf in BOTH places! That was a huge plus in my opinion! The room was comfy, as was the bed. It had a desk for our laptops, It had a microwave with TWO electrical outlets ON it! We didn't need them, but I've never seen it before. It had a K-cup brewing system in the room. The towels were decent. Shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The pool was nice - not too cold. There's a restaurant/bar attached and which had the best BLTs, of all things, I've ever had. It was close to nice places in South Portland and Old Port in Portland. It was quite pleasant."
