The Mark at Surfside, Apt. 11

This is a fully remodeled spacious studio unit. Located upstairs, this open room features a comfortable queen bed and a futon for additional seating or sleeping space. The full bathroom includes a bathtub and comes stocked with bath towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap for your convenience.

For your dining needs, there is a small kitchenette equipped with a coffee pot and filters (please bring your own favorite coffee grounds), toaster, microwave, mini refrigerator, and dishes.

Stay connected with the Roku smart TV and Wi-Fi included in your stay. Outside, you'll find chairs and a small table for your personal use, and a shared outdoor area with picnic tables and charcoal grills for some outdoor fun. Just remember to bring your own charcoal and grilling utensils if you plan to use the grills.

Our location is convenient with restaurants, a convenience store, and a liquor store nearby. Plus, the beach is just a short walk away, less than a block from the property! Leave your vehicle in one of our two shared parking lots and spend your day at the beach or purchase a Surfside Beach permit from local stores to drive your vehicle onto the beach.

*The Village of Surfside has always had issues with its water. It has a bit of an off color, odor and flavor. We have installed a filtration system to help with this and the water is safe for use, but it doesn't fully remove these issues. Please look to bring bottled water if this will be an issue so that you have access to it.*

We were able to go to the beach the first night. Then the whole next day. Went back to our room for lunch. Enjoyed the afternoon again on beach. Early the next morning the sunrise was beautiful from the beach. Thank you. Water was perfect.

GREAT COUPLE GETAWAY

Great stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location was easy to find and a very short walk to the beach with two beachside restaurants also within a short walk. The room (#11) was clean and relaxing. I enjoyed a long bath after a day at the beach. It was perfect for a couple. There was a small frig and microwave. There was no stove, so we had to eat out, which was not too much of an issue since it was just us. Had we brought our kids with us, it would have been too expensive to eat out every meal. There is a BBQ pit on the property available for use. The property manager/owner was extremely hospitable and attentive. We will definitely be back.

What a lovely place for a young couple to stay

I booked to get a mental get away. It was perfect for this purpose. Not a lot to do outside of beach time but if that is what you want. Plus it’s only a short drive to more activities including nature trail, and just the drive along blue water hwy is stunning! I say for young couple as the steps are not easy on older legs and knees. This was clear on the booking, but just to reiterate, the steps are not easy. I was happy to see a hot plate has been added since I read the reviews. My only issue was the WiFi was very weak! I needed to get on my work computer and couldn’t secure a connection due to such a weak signal. Even my phone couldn’t find it after the first day when the building had more occupants. But for the mental get away, it was perfect. Comfortable big bed with lots of pillows. Clean and so cutely decorated.

We loved staying at The Mark! The room was clean and inviting. The refrigerator and kitchenette gave us freedom to enjoy some meals at home. The parking lot was perfect. It’s in a great location to enjoy the beach. There’s an outdoor shower to help get the sand off. We had an amazing stay.

Super clean and updated rental just a very short walk to the beach. Plenty of parking and cold AC. Made our little weekend getaway perfect. We would definitely stay here again. Host was excellent with communications and answered all of our questions in a timely manner.
