Great weekend
The house was perfect for our group of two families. Everything was clean, and we appreciated the extras that were provided. The kitchen was well-stocked. There were lots of beach toys available too. Access to the beach was easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here and would definitely book again!

AMAZING LITTLE GEM!
Such a great find! Christina was available for all of my questions at any time. Super clean as well! My boys had such a good time and the 30 sec walk to the beach was amazing. Not over crowded and lots of things to do. Some of the locals even had a party and the live music was awesome. I really enjoyed sitting out on the wrap around porch every night and morning. We had a little hiccup with our car 30 mins past check out and one of the neighbor came to give us a jump. Thank you so much Christina, such a great little community and we will definitely be back! :)

Property was clean, very well kept and had plenty of room for our family of 14. Owner was very easy to communicate with and responded promptly. The house was equipped with more that what you need and is very close to beach. We rented the golf cart for our entire stay and really enjoyed having it. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the beach in that area. I have always heard yucky things about Texas beaches but we loved it.

This house is immaculately kept, and the owner has gone above & beyond to anticipate guests’ needs. Every detail - from charming beach decor, to a great variety of beach play gear, to a well-appointed kitchen, and even bathroom samples like you’d find at a hotel! - is thoughtfully considered. This was our family’s 2nd stay, and we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Perfect Beach Vacay
Blue Pelican was the perfect house for our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids). The house was fresh, cool and clean upon our arrival. The complementary toiletries and cold bottled water were a nice touch. Our kids loved their “kid cave”. We added on the optional golf cart and found it very useful for hauling our gear to the beach. The beach and water were beautiful and we enjoyed three full days of sand and saltwater! Communications with Christina were quick and always helpful. We highly recommend Blue Pelican!

Great Place
The house was great. Located a few steps from the beach, but renting the golf cart was by far the best idea. You can load all of your stuff on the golf cart and park it in the garage when you get back so it's ready for the next day. The house has everything you need. The beds were comfy and TV had all the movies and streaming services needed to relax in the evening. We will be back for sure.

A nice property with great beach access and beach views
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen was well stocked and the overall vibe was beachy and comfortable. The managers were easy and quick to respond with questions and when we did not bring our dog, we were refunded the pet deposit promptly.

Ultimate getaway
Property was clean, had everything that you could need. I was not expecting for all it offered so I honestly pack way to much. Owners commutation was awesome! The house had plenty of room for my big family and less than a minute walk to the beach. The only downfall was the steps to the ramp going to the beach but I do not blame the owners as it was a community ramp. Other than that you can definitely tell the owners put a lot of love into this home. Definitely would recommend!

This was a wonderful place to stay the view was amazing ! The house was spacious and nice the owners were so helpful . Had everything we needed and more . Love the decor of the home . The outside shower was so nice to have and plenty of parking . And it is so close to the beach . The only downfall is the stairs must have washed away on the walk way to the beach witch is nothing to do with the owners of the home . But I would definitely love to rent this home again.

Perfect getaway!
This place is a good fine. Close enough to hear the waves. Just steps from the beach. They also have everything you need to relax, play board games (provided), and cook meals, though it’s BYOS - bring your own spices ;). Surfside was also way less crowded than Galveston. There’s a great Kroger in Lake Jackson, just 15 min away, that carries everything including fresh local seafood. And there’s also Walmart and Target in Lake Jackson.

The house is immaculate. Beautiful inside and out. It is in a great location with beach access just steps away from the house. There is a wonderful view of the beach from the balcony. The check-in and out process was super easy. The communication with the owners was top notch, as well. We all had the best time. We will definitely spend another weekend here in the future. April Family Staycation
This property was amazing. The home was nice and cozy ...it felt like home away from home. The wrap around porch was mind blowing. The views of the beach from just about every window and room in the home was a pleasant surprise. We actually over being. The property was equipped with everything we needed. There were first aid kits, sanitizer, lysol, paper towels, and plastic eating utensils. We were in awe in knowing that our next visit will be less packing of these mentioned items. Only suggestion I would make is.to have the cleaning crew to dust a bit more often. However, this wasn't a major impact to the home. The home is in great condition and very well kept.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We try to make sure that you have all of your comforts that you would have in your own home. And, yes, sometimes the house can get a little dusty between bookings. We do dust during every cleaning but when we are in our less busy season and there are unbooked days between cleanings, dust can settle on objects. This will not be an issue during the summer season, due to back-to-back bookings and more frequent cleanings. We are so happy that you had a nice stay! We hope to see you back again sometime soon!

Beautiful Stay!
My family stayed at the Blue Pelican for 3 nights!!! The house was extremely clean and gave a really cozy feeling upon entering! It was stocked with just about everything you needed! We loved the fact we could spend the day at the beach and walk right to the house to snack and use the restroom. If your looking for the perfect house in Surfside, I absolutely recommend this house! You will not be disappointed!

Perfect location
Surfside was quiet and relaxing. The house was cute with very nice furnishings. We did not use the upstairs but went and looked at it. Would definitely be a great house for a large family or group of friends. The master bed was super comfortable with luxurious sheets. Highly recommended.

Blue Pelican Heaven
Despite another tropical storm having just passed through the area the property was impeccable. The communication with the property management was consistent leading up to the stay as our arrival was just one day after the storm left the area. Upon arrival everything was wonderful and the home had beautiful views. The house made available everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. With it being so close getting to and from the beach is a breeze. The local restaurants and stores are easy to access by foot, golf cart or vehicle. We will certainly be booking a stay there again in the future.

Great Place
The property was great, very clean, very close to beach, beds were comfortable, kitchen was clean and well equipped. We were there when TS Beta storm surge began to flood area and owners contacted us to offer a refund if we wanted to leave the night before we were scheduled to. We ended up staying the extra night and made some more memories. Thanks to the Jacobs for your hospitality.

Property was clean, and owners provided everything needed, even though we like to bring our own things (towels, cleaners, water, etc . . ) Communication with ownership was great prior to stay, and was not needed through the stay, as we had everything we needed Only negatives were we had difficulty figuring out all the tvs, as each was different. Also, paperwork advertises a Keuring, and we could not locate. Neither one of these things were a deal breaker, and not worth notifying the owners about

Hi, Kelly! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay at Blue Pelican. However, I do apologize about the TV’s and k-cup coffee maker. Upon inspection of the property after your visit, we noticed that two of the Fire-sticks that were in place on the TV’s were missing. We will be replacing those. Also, the k-cup coffee maker is the center button on the water cooler. I wish I had known that you were looking for that. I could have pointed you in the right direction. We do have that information on the VRBO website, but I did not realize it wasn’t in the paperwork sent to you for checkin. I will make sure to add that. It makes very nice, hot coffee. Thank you for being great guests and we hope to have you back again someday.

Loved our beach getaway!
This is our second stay at this property. It's a great location with ocean views, pet friendly, and only steps from the beach. The house can easily sleep a large family and comes well stocked. The owners are great, quick to respond to any questions or concerns, just a pleasure work with. I highly recommend this property.

Great location and great beach house!
Our family loved staying at the Blue Pelican! It’s super close to the beach (no problem to walk back to get another drink or more sunscreen) and very cute and comfy. The house had everything we needed, as well as nice linens, decor, and a water cooler that doubles as a Kcup coffee maker. The adults enjoyed the large deck with the ocean view and breeze; the kids enjoyed the bunk room! The owners were very nice and very quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely recommend Blue Pelican to our friends!

Blue Pelican is a great place to stay

Great house and location for your next beach getaway
My family loved this beach house with beautiful views located just steps from the beach in Surfside, Texas. The owner was a pleasure to work with during the reservation and check in process, and always responded to our questions very promptly. I can't say enough good things about the owner and the property. In addition this is a pet friendly house, so we took our mature dog with us. Our dog loved just hanging out on the large deck with us, which has lots of seating and even a baby gate at the top of the stairway. I highly recommend this property for your next trip to the coast to relax and get away from it all. We can't wait to go back.

My happy place!
The moment you walk up the steps to the house and see the waves, you’re in your happy place! This home is huge! It is obvious it is someone’s home and that they poured themselves into it. It has beautiful updates, the outdoor shower is so nice! We had an issue with the keypad entering the home (user error) and the property managers were very quick to respond and help with the problem! The house is in a perfect location, steps from the beach and short drive from yummy restaurants! We are all so sad to leave, but know we’ll be back soon! Sitting on the patio and watching/ listening to the waves was one of my favorite parts of the trip!
