Located next to the Fredericksburg civil war park in very quiet and tree filled 2 acres land on a dead end street (In 2026, the pool opens on May 22nd). You can take 5 minutes short walk to access the park and enjoy more than 10 miles of historical beautiful federal civil war park paths for biking or walking. Or you can just stay in the house and relax with the tranquility hearing bird songs, doing some outdoor cooking on the seasonal pool deck, relax in the sauna, and/or take a leisurely walk around the house on the circular drive way. Or you can visit charming historical Fredericksburg downtown, very walkable, filled with restaurants and shops, George Washington boyhood home, Kenmore (George Washington sister home), and/or Rappahannock river walking path. They are only 15 minutes’ drive away. One can enjoy commuter train day-trip to Washington DC. The train station is only 10 minutes away.

1. Detailed chargeable items related to the property damage such as permanent stains on the bedding items are listed in rental agreement item 3.
2. Swimming pool is only open from Memorial day weekend through Labor day weekend. Guest need to provide firewood. They are available from Lowes nearby.
3. The pool is not heated, replastered in 2021, and well maintained.
4. The sauna is open year around.
5. A hard copy of the rental agreement will be available in the house.
6. If the rental agreement document is not available for download or review in the house rule section as "rentalagreement.pdf", you can contact the host to get one. Sometimes it happens due to VRBO. But if you finish booking, you will get one in the confirmation email or message.
6. The 3rd bedroom has a full bed but it sits against wall and the room is little tight.

Very nicely decorated comfortable, beautiful area. Well stocked with everything you needed. I was very impressed and we enjoyed our stay. I bet in the summer it's fabulous with the pool.

Lovely, quiet home convenient to Fredericksburg

We were in town for our son’s fencing tournament at the Fredericksburg Convention Center. The property is only 20 minutes away from pretty much anywhere in town. The neighborhood is quiet and wooded, and the house is clean and spacious, with an abundance of helpful information from the owner. Highly recommend if staying in the area!

Secluded and Quiet

We very much enjoyed our stay. It is in a location that is very quiet. More importantly the house was very clean with nicely updated bathrooms and kitchen. We would stay there again.

Serene experience in the woods

We had a wonderful, comfortable stay in this beautiful home! The area is great and it was so nice to be able to take walks in such gorgeous areas, right outside the home! The area was quiet and peaceful, the beds and furniture were comfy, the sauna was really amazing, and the host was excellent. We would definitely stay in this home again!

Fantastic Option for my family

We thoroughly enjoyed this perfect little home for the week of Christmas. The home was clean and inviting and had everything we needed. Quiet & Cozy

My husband and I, along with a good friend stayed three nights at this nice home. The house was very clean and worked well for us as we traveled by train into Washington DC each day. During the evening hours we were able to relax in the cozy, quite home while enjoying all the amenities that the home provided. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Find

This property is secluded without being in the middle of no where. You can cook and grill. You can also go out or order from all the restaurants near by. The pool and sauna are well maintained. The sauna was a fun addition to my vacation as well as the burn pit. Mr. Park maintains the interior and exterior of the property very well and is a wonderful host. Would and will definitely stay again!

Perfect home base for exploring Fredericksburg

The house was exactly as described. It was located in a quiet neighborhood with easy and walkable access to Lee Road which is part of the battlefield. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip after exploring battlefields, the downtown and/or some of the local hiking trails. Our host came to clean the pool and always checked with us first before coming over. I also have to say the beds were very comfortable. Overall it was clean, quiet and located near enough to all that Fredericksburg has to offer.

Wonderful house. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Only suggestion would be for comfortable couch and chairs in living room. What’s there is too hard.

Great time by all!

We had a great time hanging around the pool and visiting all the nearby attractions. There was no shortage of places to eat or shop if you needed, and we even were able to get Door Dash delivered. We were in range of our day trip plans to Kings Dominion and some museums at the Smithsonian in DC. The house was perfect for our needs! Mr Park was a perfect host, very friendly and very responsive. Over all this was a great visit. If we were to point out improvement areas, the bedroom ceiling fan was very dusty so maybe a seasonal deep clean, and the living room furniture was pretty uncomfortable so we didn't really hang out there as a family.

Fantastic pool, close to Fredericksburg

We were a family of five, three kids ages 1, 3, 5. We enjoyed the town of Fredericksburg, just a ten minute drive away. We’d go to town at least once a day, and for the hours in between, having the pool at the house to entertain the kids (and parents), was key! It was very clean and a nice temperature (it was August). The house had a nice kitchen and bathrooms, they seemed to be newly updated. There was very good communication, with notes around the house to explain what was what. we were very happy with our stay.

Nice private retreat!

We have stayed here twice now and really enjoy the pool and private location it offers. The owner came daily to check and clean the pool but was leaving as we woke up to play! He did not need to enter the house, so it was not a problem at all. The location to downtown Fredericksburg and grocery stores is convenient and makes things easier. My only con would be that the living room furniture is not the most comfortable. But we will return to enjoy the pool and relaxation the property provides.
