  • This newly renovated 1955 Spartan Imperial Mansion sits on a private ridge with sweeping 180 degree views of the Hill Country. With a mid-century modern styling, this listing sleeps 4 and has a kitchen, bathroom, a fire pit for guest use and it's own gate. This peaceful hideout features tons of native wildlife, beautiful sunsets, dark sky stargazing and serene country vibes. 12 min from downtown FBG, 10 min from the Wine Trail, 5 min from Luckenbach and 1 mile from Bankersmith.

    This is a very unique listing. These Spartan Mansions were the "Cadillac of travel trailers" in the 1950's. They could comfortably accommodate a whole family, with a full kitchen, full bathroom, and plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. This unit has been totally renovated and brought up to modern standards. We put this on a ridge top with incredible 40+ mile views of the hill country, in a very secluded spot that is still close enough to Fredericksburg to easily enjoy everything the area has to offer. 10-15 min from most of the good stuff!

    Safety: we have one security camera in the gate area.

Love the retro vibe and great views. Saw lots of deer which was cool and enjoyed the fire pit very much. This is out in the country so there are things that come with that such as more bugs. All you could hear outside at night was the sound of crickets and frogs which i found peaceful. So if you like nature and quite nights by a fire looking up at the stars out of the city then you will love this place. Has an awesome jukebox too.

It was a beautiful spot with a nice view out in the country. The retro vibes were immaculate! The camper is so cool. Could’ve used a little bit of extra cleaning but other than that, it was a nice stay! Very comfy and would love to come back a bit longer soon!

They offer a lot. The trailer is outfitted perfectly for a short trip. There's a record player and fire pit to provide entertainment as well as a gas grill outside we had a great time!

Very quiet, and isolated location was perfect for the annular eclipse. Lots of stars and about 15 min from Fredricksburg. Host was amazing, very engaging, and had lots of suggestions of the area. We will be coming back again!

Memorable Getaway

This place was exactly what our little family needed! Fun and unique stay. We loved sitting around the fire pit looking at the stars. It got pretty chilly while we were there, but there were space heaters that helped make the place nice and cozy. We saw lots of deer while here, which we really enjoyed! The communication with the owners was top notch. Made us feel like they truly cared that we were enjoying the place. Thanks for the memories!

The Mansion

A unique setting and place. A bit rugged. Had trouble with wasps in and around the trailer. One of two A/C units was screaming until turned off. Nice effort on coffee, but a basic coffee pot instead of a French press would’ve been a better solution. Great views.

Hill Country Gem

Two things made our trip extremely enjoyable. The vintage vibe of the trailer we stayed in and the property on which it is located. The trailer really makes you feel like you're taking a step back in time and enjoying RV life as it was back in the 50s. From the cute decor inside and the colored lights outside the trailer. Where the trailer sits is also part of the allure. You're on a hill overlooking a beautiful valley. You have space to stretch out and enjoy the view in front of a fire pit as you drink your morning coffee. It's totally isolated from any noise and you feel as if you're by yourself. The owners are quick to help you out with anything you need or answer any questions you have. They accommodated some of our needs prior to checking in. You can tell that they love hosting guests. This is definitely a place we will come back to visit.
