Location of the property was remote enough to provide quiet countryside atmosphere, but close enough to downtown that driving back and forth only took minutes. Very pleased with our stay!

Nice quiet getaway

The cabin was great from start to finish. Check in was easy. Great place for a couples getaway and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing and having a couple of drinks. Just far enough out of town for peace and quiet but still close enough to enjoy what Fredericksburg has to offer. We will definitely stay again.

Hidden Away Gem!!

The cottage and its amenities was perfect! A private little get away location out in the country away from the city lights, but close enough to Fredricksburg to partake in any activity. Fire place, hot tub, wifi, kitchen furnishing all made the stay excellent.

Simple, Private and cozy. Would have liked to have some spices available for food. Bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed seeing deer in front of property. Management was quick to respond to needs and questions. Overall a wonderful experience. Would come again!

Good Time

The property was perfect for me and my wife. We had fun in town and at Enchanted Rock. The property was close to both and driving was minimal. It was clean and had all the necessities for a weekend trip. We saw a good amount of wildlife. We also had a great view of the stars from the porch. It felt very private. 100% would come back again.

Romantic getaway.

Cute cute cute! And secluded. We totally enjoyed our privacy. Our favorite moments included the evenings in the hot tub and the mornings drinking coffee on the front porch watching a dozen or more deer grazing in the front yard. So used to people, they didn’t seem bothered by us watching them at all! Lovely cottage getaway. Definitely coming back!

It is a little out of town, so in the country, but close enough to town to easily go in to get supplies when needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace, and the double-headed shower. We enjoyed seeing the deer and the ranch cat, Sammy. We loved how dark it was at night inside and outside where we were able to see lots of stars. A nice cabin with a Roku smart tv that had some views from the nice front porch.

However, upon further inspection, we found the cottage dusty, bathroom fixtures rusty and overall the cottage was outdated. On the second night the heater stopped working during a frigid night. The next day we called the rental agency and we were moved to another cottage, the Celtic. The Celtic was so much more comfortable and updated. The next time we will definitely request the Celtic.

We saw several deer just walking in front of our truck, saw a beaver dam in the creek and numerous birds. It was super peaceful! Hot tub was awesome! Just the right distance to shopping and restaurants. We sat on the front porch and deer were in our yard with us sitting out there. We loved it! The cabin was nice for 2 people, just the right size. Cabin was very clean and the Solo cups and paper plates were a nice addition so we didn't spend time washing dishes! We climbed Enchanted Rock which was very cool and so pretty! We went to the National Museum of the Pacific War and it was very nice! Lots of neat shops. Several restaurants were good. Sunset Grill was good and well as Burger Burger. The Texas Silver Rush was an amazing jewelry store! We will definitely go back there! It was our first time in Fredricksburg and we are already talking about when we can visit again!Marsha and Brad
