Opening the door to the Rocky Top Cabin, you're drawn to the wall of windows, perfectly framing a stunning 30-mile view of the canyon below. Stepping out onto the deck, the fresh air and gentle breeze wrap around you, inviting you to unwind as birds sing and deer quietly wander by. Inside this 525 sq ft cabin, the two private bedrooms each with queen beds, with a third queen bed in a loft allow everyone space to relax! You find the fully equipped kitchen, complete with local ingredients for breakfast in the refrigerator comforting. The small private bath has everything you need within reach. The spacious back deck and dinette set are ideal for any meal that you want to enjoy Al Fresco. Your pet is welcome in the Rocky Top and we like to leave treats so they feel like they’re on vacation too!

Amazing place with an amazing view. The host was so nice and worked with us when we had a last minute change. They had breakfast there for us, which was delicious! Favorite part was breakfast on the porch while watching the sunrise. Truly peaceful and wonderful all around. Most definitely recommend and we will be back!

I reserved this cabin for a sister's weekend. The cabin was very cozy. We loved sitting on the deck every morning !s we drank our coffee and watched the deer come up and eat the deer corn supplied by the hosts. The breakfast items they provided were perfect.

Rocky Top Cabin

The Rocky Top Cabin was PERFECT for our stay! It was so cute and cozy and fit us all perfectly. The views from our patio were amazing and the hosts were so kind and responsive! The breakfast provided was very yummy and we had a great time. We would come back!!

Rocky Top Cabin

We loved staying at the Walnut Canyon Cabins! We stayed in the Rocky Top cabin. Even though there was a small hiccup trying to retrieve the key (we had the wrong code) Carl answered his phone immediately and we were able to get in. The cabin had everything we could possibly need and was super homey and clean. The view...WOW, it is gorgeous! We loved feeding the deer, chickens and cows (feed provided for all). Carl is also super nice. He brought us some delicious homemade chocolates (delicious!) and banana bread. We will definitely be back. There are other cabins on the property and we have some others we want to try out as well. Thanks Carl and Rhonda!

Secluded, excellent view, but many options for things to do and places to eat within 20 minutes drive. The drive is beautiful as well.

This is the best place to spend a few days getting away from the craziness of city life. Out girls trip was amazing and staying here just topped it off. The views are beautiful and the wildlife are abundant.

Great cabin in Hill Country

My family so enjoyed our stay in Rocky Top Cabin that we are hoping to go back during peach season. The cabin was very clean and well appointed and the owners were so nice and accommodating. The kids loved all the wild and domesticated animals onsite and appreciated the opportunity to hand feed the cattle treats each night. I was worried it might be a little too far from Fredericksburg but we actually enjoyed the drive through back country roads. The star gazing is amazing at the cabin as is the view across the canyon.
