The wonderful house is conveniently located just one block from Main and an easy walk to Marktplatz, shopping and restaurants. Being in the historic district, guests will find this Tudor style home built in 1927 full of memories in its architecture and the many period built in features found inside the house. Three bedrooms are found in this elegant home.

Two bedrooms are both elegant and spacious. Each bedroom offers a uniquely and tastefully appointed King bed along with 42” flat screen TVs. A private bath for the two bedrooms has a tiled shower and pedestal sink. The third bedroom invites you to enjoy the King size bed with pillow top mattress and the 42' flat screen television found in the armoire. A comfortable chair and ottoman are perfect for reading or just relaxing. This room offers a private vintage bath with a tub/shower combination.

The living/dining room is both breathtakingly beautiful and comfortable for guests to enjoy and cherish whether it be your family during the holidays or friends creating wonderful new memories. The Tuscan red living room offers elegant and comfy seating. There is also a spacious dining room with a 55” flat screen TV plus a full kitchen with two additional dining areas.

There is a day bed with trundle in the library room. There is also a single sleeper in the Baroness-Empress bedroom. This house is a wonderful property to enjoy family and friend weekends plus is conveniently located to just about everything.

Please note:
- Streaming services are available, but guests must log-in using their own accounts

- The home is pet friendly and will accept up to two dogs. However, there is a pet fee of $27/dog/night (before tax). Due to the fact that HomeAway/VRBO does not allow us to charge for more than one dog at the time of booking, please let us know if you will be bringing more than one dog, so that we can make sure that you are charged the correct amount. If you bring more than one dog and do not let us know, you will be charged accordingly. Furthermore, please bring crates for your dogs and crate them in your absence from the house, do not allow the dogs on furniture or beds, and pick up and properly dispose of their waste. If these rules are not followed, there will be an additional $200 charge added to your reservation.

- Observe the City of Fredericksburg Quiet Hours (10pm to 7am in residential zones). No music of any kind after 10 pm.
- The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present to use the light.
- Observe the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces.

We had a lovely stay. It was easy to get to Oktoberfest…only two blocks away. One block to the the most central part of Main Street. Check in super easy. The house was as clean as you can get a house that old. The decor and design make you feel like you’re visiting grandma. But there was really no place in the main room to sit that was comfortable. That furniture was pretty worn! The beds were great though! There was plenty of room for all six of us. All in all we would stay there again just to be in the heart of fredricksburg. Thanks for a great stay.

Our annual friends trip took us to Fredericksburg this past month. The house was exactly as it was pictured and described. It is in walking distance to Main Street and shopping. A fun time was had by all.

The location of this property is perfect. The overall decor, mattresses, painting and seating needs to be updated. Second bathroom is small to maneuver in. Suggest adding multi outlet strips for electronic device charging.

The location was great with ample parking spots and rooms were large. The decor and furnishings are a bit dated, and there is quite a bit of cosmetic wear around the house. The house could also use some outlet strips. But, the beds were comfortable and there were several spaces for us to all gather together in the evenings. We did really envoy the house.

Great place and we had a nice visit. My only input would be the owners really emphasized picking up after our dog, but the front yard had a lot of feces/waste. My guess is picking are walking their dogs and not picking up after them.
