We really enjoyed our stay here. The size of the cabin was perfect for 2 people. We didn't feel cramped and had everything we needed, including a parking spot outside. We would stay here again.

Great short stay

So much nicer and more comfortable than a hotel! This place has two recliners, a great bed and huge bathroom! It’s close to shops and restaurants. There’s even a pool you can use!

super quiet location but still close enough to walk to Main St shopping; the fireplaces was AWESOME because of the rain & below-freezing temps; the outside light made for restless sleeping, though, we couldn't turn it off & it was shining through all the blind slats :( ... we would stay again

Lovely visit!

We come to Fredericksburg fairly often and enjoy our little getaways. Some properties we have stayed in, we will not return to. Main Street Retreat is on the list to stay in again. It is quiet and has great parking. The unit was comfortable, clean and just the right size for two people. We will be back soon!

We stay in Fredericksburg often. This place is the coziest, cleanest place we’ve stayed!! The bed was really comfortable! Loved the fireplace! We plan on returning in the summer as the pool and hot tub look very relaxing and inviting!

It was a comfortable room. The bed was good, there are 2 recliners & a nice TV, Kitchenette & nice bathroom. Only wish is I wish there was more storage, like a dresser. We stayed for 5 days which I guess is more than most people stay, but we had more stuff to store. Will definitely stay again.

This was the perfect place to stay. We were looking for a comfy place with a pool, and our expectations were succeeded. We were a little worried about a couple things based on past reviews, however, they were not accurate. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the entire place was impeccably clean. We are ready planning our return.

Nice, quiet place

Nice quiet place to stay on Main Street that isn’t in the middle of the business. Room was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was freezing so wasn’t able to use it, but that wasn’t a big deal to us. Would stay again, but would like a little bit larger room.

Loved our stay! The location was great. The bed was comfortable and we loved the comfort recliners inside and the outside chairs. Out only concern was that after we walked on the floor in white socks the bottom of our socks were almost black. Having house keeping mop more often would definitely be beneficial. Even with that being said we'd stay again. We'd just pack flip flop for walking on the tile floor.

Fun and relaxation in wine country

We loved everything ab the property. Great location. Easy to find. Wish we could have extended our stay for a couple days more. If I have to ask anything, it would be to let the guests know what to do with the trash you accumulate during your stay. That’s all. Had a wonderful time. Can’t wait to return.

Peaceful and quiet

Great location. Close enough to everything but far enough from crowds. Cosy cottage feel. Could have been a little cleaner, trash under sink in kitchenette was full when we arrived. Found some peanuts on the floor. Everything else was great.

Great Little Get Away!

We loved our stay! The place is so cute and access to some really great restaurants were within walking distance. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready until 4pm. Our friends room was ready at noon. So I guess it's just luck of the draw if you can get in early or not but this place was awesome! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, the hot tub and our sitting area in the room. Beds are super comfortable and the kitchenette has everything you need. We will be back.

Somewhat misleading online description

The rental was basically a hotel room. The online pictures make it look like a multi-room rental, but it is not. The bathroom is only separated from the living/sleeping area. But it was very nice and comfortable.

We loved everything about our stay, except for the light on the porch. There was not a switch to turn it off. It lit up our cabin all night. We kept waking up thinking it was daylight.If that gets changed, then we would love to come back.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at your facility. It was quiet, we like the private parking and the location. Overall the room was very clean and tidy. Our only complaint was the cleaner missed the used soap and shampoo that was left in the cut out in the shower. We just removed it and threw it in the trash, but of course it makes us wonder if the rest of the shower was cleaned? Thanks for listening!

We have stayed in this location before and loved the convenience and quiet( they were roofing a house behind us with loud Mexican music playing) but it was quiet at night. The main problem was the light through the blinds at night. Black out drapes would be nice. Also the bed didn't seem quite as comfortable as before it's probably time to be replaced. Also it would be nice if the French doors were frosted for a little bathroom privacy. We would probably stay here again but I would ask specific questions before booking. We have stayed at many B and B's, Hotels and resorts through the years and each has its strengths. This one has location and price and moderate comfort.

Very nicely appointed. My only criticism would be that a drying mat in the kitchenette and a small nightlight in the shower area would be nice. The double sinks were great. It was quiet, but easily accessible to all that Fredericksburg has to offer.
