Beautiful Place Close to Main St

I can't say enough about this property. Great area for family gathering, outdoor and gameroom was a lot of fun. The owners have impeccable style and taste. Felt so comfortable, like we were home! Parking area was large enough for all of us. We will definitely book it again!

This house was lovely. First and foremost it was very clean which I appreciate so much. It makes you feel comfortable and at home. It’s roomy and the garage with the pool table and shuffle board are such a bonus. I would definitely stay here again. The best house I’ve stayed at.

Parent’s 50th Anniversary

This property was a great place to rent to celebrate our parent’s 50th anniversary. The grandkids enjoyed playing pool and shuffle board in the garage. The fire pit in the backyard was nice to enjoy in the evening. The location was great because it was close to get to our other festivities around town with the rest of the family.

Beautiful and spacious

Great spot for our family reunion, enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. When toddlers visited there was plenty of room to play inside and outside, including the game room in the garage. Well-equipped kitchen and laundry room. A great stay in Fredericksburg.

Fabulous House

What a lovely, spacious home. Very comfortable for six adults! Loved the outdoor patio with a cocktail table propane fire. Lots of daylight, bright, awesome kitchen. Would easily stay here again.

Girls trip

Herber house was beautiful! The location is about 0.4 of a mile to downtown. Very easy walk day or night. Our entire group fell in love with the decor, space and layout of the home. Kerinne was responsive to my questions and very personable. The home has instructions, things to do, helpful hints, etc located throughout the home which was a nice touch. 5 stars, highly recommend and we would book the home again.

This is a beautiful home in a great location! Our family was more than comfortable and enjoyed the pool table and shuffle board in the garage! The location is perfect for quick access to Main St. Communication with the owner was great and everything was easy! We will definitely be back! Easter with family

The host is a kind person to start with. The home is better in person than in pictures. We were looking for a nice home with plenty of room and we got it! We get together with family twice a year on a vacation and look for a big place. This was better than expected with everything on hand.

The house was wonderful the rooms clean and comfortable. The kitchen range is off temperature we did a lot of cooking since we had a large group. Also could use new utensils. Amazing property

This property was amazing, clean and open. Check in was awesome, communication was on point. The only thing I would say I personally didn’t like was the fact that the curtains don’t cover windows completely at night, there are no TVs in bedrooms and there’s not enough seating in the living room for as many people as the house holds. We stayed two nights. There is a washer and dryer and they have laundry detergent and dryer sheets! This would not stop me from booking in the future as the house itself is amazing!!

Birthday get away

We had an awesome weekend. 3 couples had plenty room to spread out and enjoy each other company. The house is amazing with a mixture of old and new. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable,kitcken is amazing, everything we needed and then some. The garage was sweet, pool table and Suffel board. Had fun even though the wife beat me.Never got to use the firepit too hot outside. The house is a little pricey, but well worth the money. We had a couple issues, but Kerinne was right there to take care of it right away. I will definitely rent again. Thank you Kerinne

Herber Haus!

We recently took a trip to Fredericksburg to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. We were lucky enough to find the Herber Haus and shared this house with 2 other couples. The house was perfect for us! Each couple had their own room and bathroom. The house was spotless and very welcoming when we walked in. The house is very cozy in a good way. We actually felt like we were in a friends home, like there was a familiarity to it. We had the pleasure of staying in the master bedroom and got plenty of good sleep on a VERY comfortable mattress. The master bath was huge with his and hers sinks as well as a walk in shower. But the closet might have been twice the size. My wife seriously wanted to move in after seeing it. The house also came with a detached garage that doubles as a game room with a pool and shuffleboard table. Very cool place to hang out with garage doors on both sides to create a breezeway. The house is also very well located in a nice neighborhood not too far from downtown. We walked one evening to Hondo's on Main without any problems. The communication from the hosts was great. Provided all the information we needed, checked in to make sure we were OK via VRBO and they also had framed notes around the house with their preferences and helpful information. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would book this house again. Can't recommend this place enough! 10/10

Had a great 40th birthday celebration with my family. Stayed 2 nights first evening went out to dinner and the second evening we grilled and made dinner at the house and played pool and all the games in the garage. Everything in the house was decorated so nice and all the bathrooms were very nice.
