Entering the home awaits a quant sitting area open to the dining room. The kitchen has metal counters and original painted cabinets. Just off the kitchen is the laundry room with full size washer and dryer. The den is spacious with a gorgeous stone wood burning fireplace. There is private parking off the street behind gates. Whole-house backup generator ensures continued comfort in the event of power outage.

Excellent place to stay especially if you are planning a longer stay. The home is very nicely laid out allowing privacy for everyone with two living/dining areas plus the outdoor space. We had a wonderful stay with a friend from the UK. The house was decorated for Christmas and with the cozy fireplace it was the perfect place to visit. The house is quite charming, plenty of room, a well stocked kitchen and very reasonable price! 3bedrooms and 3 baths… a bargain.

Great stay in wine country

Five of us checked in Friday for a girls trip. Very cute place! Heidi allowed us to check in a little bit early. The home was clean, and had everything we needed for a weekend away. The back patio was very cute. Three bathrooms is definitely a plus for a group of ladies. We never felt cramped. All in all, a great stay!

Wonderful stay!

The house was wonderful, we had 5 adults so the three bedrooms and baths worked perfectly. LOVED the backyard lounging areas, we were able to sit outback and experience the eclipse (10/14/23), the attention to detail on the accommodations was excellent. Heidi was available for any questions and gave detailed instructions prior to the stay and notes throughout the home. We look forward to staying the next time we visit Fredricksburg.

Perfect house for Oktoberfest

This is the 3rd year we've stayed at this house for Oktoberfest in Fredericksburg. Everybody in our group absolutely loves everything about Heidi's house. Perfect for our size group and it's located within walking distance of the Marketplatz but far enough that you can't hear the activities. Heidi always has it sparkling clean and her check-in/check-out process is super easy. Looking forward to staying here again and again.

Beautifully decorated home with plenty of room for up to 6 people. The three bathrooms made it especially convenient and comfortable. The kitchen had more than we needed. This will be our 1st choice when our family visits again.

Girl's 60th Birthday Celebration

We enjoyed this very cozy and clean cottage for our girl's trip. Great patio and table for visiting, eating and having coffee. All coffee supplies provided. Communication great with host. Mamacita's is great for take out. Excellent pizza at West End, excellent lunch at Woerner's Warehouse. GREAT time at the Wild Seed farm. Nightlife fun was had at the Velvet Lounge for karoke. Hope to come again!
