Madge’s Studio - Pets Welcome

Charming, spacious studio with a king size bed located in a wooded neighborhood with an easy 15 minute drive to Winter Park ski resort. You will find everything you need from on-site parking, to trails for cross-country skiing/snowshoeing, mountain biking, and hiking right out your front door. Madge’s attends to your every need and that of your pup so pack your bags and bring Fido too! The Fraser Valley offers every outdoor adventure on your list and Madge’s provides a peaceful, private space for reading and relaxing.
Madge's studio has wonderful natural light, a cozy cast iron fireplace and a wall-mounted flat screen TV, with cable. Work while away with high speed wifi or simply unplug and enjoy the view from the front deck.
Either an AWD or 4WD vehicle is recommended during the non-summer months.

What a wonderful little gem of a space. My daughter and I had a great time. Everything was well appointed and super cozy. Was easy to find and get inside. Super close to grocery and other stores. Will definitely be staying there again for the odd ski trip. So thankful to not have to break the bank just for a bed and shower. Loved! Thank you!!!!

The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! The family lives upstairs and is so nice. Very attentive and the spot is very secluded and quiet. I was constantly surprised by what small amenities were included, included toiletries, plastic cutlery, and some candy for the road :) Thanks!

Great Dog Friendly Stay

My partner and I stayed here for a few days and it was great! We hope to be back. It was clean, spacious, and had lovely personal touches like fresh flowers (my favorite!). I highly recommend Madge’s Place if you’re staying in Fraser/Winter Park.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

Wonderful, clean and cozy!!!Super dog friendly in a nice neighborhood close to town. The bed was so comfortable we slept longer than we normally would :). Would definitely recommend this perfectly peaceful home away from home.

LOVED Madge’s Place

We loved staying here. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was so cute, cozy and very clean. It had everything we needed and it was so dog friendly, including dog beds and toys. It’s hard to find somewhere to accommodate your dogs and this place definitely did. We hope to be back in the future!

Beautiful surrounding property and cozy place to stay. We enjoyed snowshoeing on the property and skiing at winter park (20-minute drive away). The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a heater, comfortable mattress, and small kitchen area. The owners and neighbors were very kind and helped us get our car out of a snowbank after sliding in the driveway. I would definitely recommend staying here as opposed to the pricy resort hotels.

Consistent with all previous reviews, Madge’s studio is clean and comfortable and quiet with all the comforts of home! TV, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator. Very comfortable king size bed. It is just a room with a bathroom attached but it is done very well. There is plenty of room to move around for two people and all our stuff that we brought. It was clean and set up very nice. Coffee was even provided! I was in need of an actual knife and she brought one down for us. She even went thought ahead and brought a cutting board down for us to use as well. Also we saw moose while we were there!
