Mountain Getaway

Great little cabin

Great little cabin. Just far enough outside town to be quiet and relaxing. Place was exceptionally clean and organized. Two porches (upper wrap around and lower). Both porches had seating options. Cabin was small but well organized so that it was cozy and not crowded. Downstairs had a large bed, large couch with sleeper, plus a day bed off to the side room full bath downstairs as well as a pool table. Highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Date vacay with the wife!

This cabin was perfect for us. The porch is very nice to sit on in the morning while drinking coffee reading and listening to the birds. The grill cooked some great ribeyes, and the pool table was great to play on. I would look at staying here again. The cabin was very clean and well kept!

We had a wonderful experience We stayed 7 days, the cabin was clean and inviting, well stocked kitchen, the cabin is roomy and beautifully decorated with a rustic theme. Home sweet home.

We felt right at home here. It had everything we needed. And was the prefectly located for what we were doing. We would definition stay again. But if you have a dog, going up and down the hill to have them use the bathroom was not ideal. Especially if you have an older dog. The awesome fire pit area was down there as well. We would definitely stay there again.

Great House

Heaven on the Hill was a great house for what my group of 4 needed. Everything was clean and exactly as pictured. Some small things to note: cell coverage is spotty and wifi is a bit slow (~5mbps) which is typical for the area, and the fridge didn't have a water dispenser, so make sure to bring bottled water if you don't prefer tap. Overall, our stay was pleasant and I definitely would recommend it to others!

Absolutely Amazing!! A Must See and Stay!

This home is beautiful! It has all the bells and whistles. There are also extra kitchen items added for guest experience. The pool table is just what our family needed as well. Playing pool before going to bed and as soon as we woke up. Love this place and will definitely stay again! Thank you for an amazing trip and home!

Very pleasant place

Loved the location, enjoyed the porch with the cool temperatures and listening to the creek below. Cleaned up the hummingbird feeder and made some feed for them and seen several enjoying it. The cabin was mostly clean, some areas needed a little bit more cleaning such as cobwebs and bathtub in upstairs bath wasn't clean. And the porches needed to be maintained a little better. But regardless of this we enjoyed the stay.

Gorgeous Gem

As we approached the home we had the pleasure of driving out to a more quiet area of the countryside. The Brook near the backyard was so pleasing to hear. The home was exquisite. Gorgeous log home, neighbors not too close, bi level. We had so much fun playing pool with each other. The only complaint was we weren't able to stay longer. I'd highly recommend this to anyone. Quite, semi secluded, perfectly dressed to make you feel at home.

Perfect house for our stay. Enjoyed the secludedness and amenities that this house offered. The pool table became the gathering spot, especially considering there was absolutely no WiFi during the day, which was fine for us overall, but definitely made it inconvenient when trying to look up things to do or on our rainy day. Loved being able to walk outside to only the sound of the creek flowing across the street. Loved sitting on the porch every morning and being able to see deers on the hill to the right outside the living room sliding door. Fire pit having a light was absolutely amazing. If you’re all about spending some time with family it is the perfect place.

Nice spot away from everything

If you're looking for a space that's away from everything, this is the spot for you. The night sky is in full view, the noise is minimal, and the location is close enough to Franklin (about 35 minutes) and Bryson City (about 45 minutes) that you can get there in a reasonable amount of time yet far enough away that you don't have to deal with road noise and lots of traffic. The stove is gas (very nice), the beds work well enough, and the double level porch is a great place to hang out; it's a great place for quiet reflection time. My kids loved playing the video games I grew up on as there is a modern retro Nintendo system with a ton of old games loaded into it. We all got drawn in to some intense rounds of pool (go for the right corner pocket). The couches were comfy, and we loved watching a little TV at the end of the night. We loved Heaven in the Hills!

Washer & dryer worked great. The only thing i wish it had was a pizza pan to cook a pizza. The livingroom area was nice, I just wish there where blinds or curtains on the windows for privacy

The cabin and surrounding were absolutely beautiful. Beds were clean comfortable, sitting on porch listening to the creek nearby so relaxing with morning cuppa, a deer even by to check us out, got a great photo Highly recommend
