Great Stay in Quiet Cabin next to Stream

Very nice clean cabin set back from main roads. Quiet with the only the sound of the small stream next to cabin. Set back from main road about a mile, but easy access.

Weekend stay

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for! Even though it doesn’t show on gps, Dinah’s directions made it easy to get to. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and inviting. Had zero issues and would gladly stay again!

Relaxing, Refreshing Get Away

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely, comfortable cabin. We loved the babbling brook, the nightly campfires, breakfast and lunch on the front porch, the swing, the beautiful flowers and nicely kept lawn, the peace and quiet, the sweet welcoming treats of preserves and cookies, the comfortable bed, and exploring the area. Our host was very responsive and has thought of so many nice little touches to make it an easy, enjoyable stay.

The Coziest Cabin!

My husband and I stayed here for my birthday / Valentines Day. It was the perfect little cozy getaway from the moment we walked in the doors! Dinah had a fire going for us so it was already nice and warm, the cabin was super clean and looked just like the pictures if not better! Kitchen was stocked with utensils and cookware and made cooking our meals a breeze. No service but the WiFi was fast and easy to connect to. Absolutely zero complaints, we both loved it and will be coming back!

Another peaceful and fun stay

We love the place. This was our second time at the cabin, so we knew what to expect. The first time we were there was in the summer when everything outside was green. This time we hoped for snow, but it rained all but one day. So we stayed indoors quite a bit, enjoying the popping sound of the fireplace. We are looking forward to returning when the weather warms up.

Welcoming Cabin

The log cabin is very welcoming, front porch decorated with flowers and ferns, extra blankets and throws for cold nights-even on the rocking chair and swinging bench on the porch. It is in the hills, very quiet with a small creek runnning along the side of the house. Franklin is not a touristy town but we ate at 3 good restaurants and the closest grocery store is surprisingly big, everyting you need. Overall a very good, restful vacation.

We had an absolutely amazing time. There were so many thoughtful aspects put into the property from things you may have forgotten to things to do. It was so peaceful and homey. Everything was spotless and clean. We will be back for a summer trip. The snow we got to see was the cherry on top of the trip.

Almost heaven

A cabin the the middle of the woods. Owner was easy to communicate with. Not hard to find. Many things to do within reasonable driving distance. Relaxing. Owners had everything we needed in the cabin. Perfect long weekend getaway in the mountains.

Pardise in the Pendleton

I spent numerous hours searching for places to stay for my wife and I to sneak away to so we could shake off the everday work hassles. Man did we hit the jackpot. What a gem this log cabin is. Very secluded and right next to rambling brook. The cool night air combined with the sound of water was fantastic. The nite we arrived it was chilly and raining. There was a fire keeping the cabin so warm and welcoming. Sleeping the first night with the rain plinking off the tin roof was trance like. The numerous local area landmarks keep us very busy. The kindness of the chatty locals made us feel very welcomed. We are planning to return mid June. Cant wait.

Beautiful log cabin next to a small stream down a private dirt road. Includes all kitchenware, towels, sheets, candles, matches/lighter, books and crayons, streaming tv, a/c in bedroom, ceiling fans and comfortable furniture. Has a charcoal grill, a fire-pit with grill, a variety of outdoor seating to include a hammock! All amenities in excellent working order, even hot water and water pressure! Multiple personal, homey touches through out, they thought of everything, even foil and plastic wrap! Love the welcome gift of cookies and jam waiting for us! So thoughtful, thank you! Saw two small bucks going across the yard up into the woods the evening we got there! We had a most enjoyable and relaxing weekend, much needed, thank you!

It was a great Cabin and very well maintained! Very close to Franklin, Seneca Rock, and Spruce Knob! All great places we visited! And Fisher Mountain Golf Course is close and it was probably the coolest course I’ve ever played at!

Getaway to west Virginia

My wife and I had an enjoyable 4 night anniversary stay at this little cabin. The drive back the lane made it feel away from the world but it was still only a couple miles from the quaint town of Franklin WV. Coffee on the front porch and sleeping to the sound of running creek water was a highlight!

Welcoming and cozy cabin

We loved our stay at this cabin. The property is very clean and has lots of little touches that make it homely and welcoming. The sound of the creek next to the cabin immerses you in nature. It is well connected to US Route 33, but far enough so you don't hear the sound of cars. Perfect getaway to disconnect and be in nature.

Couldn't be any better!

This was a short get away just to relax. We couldn't believe how thoughtful our host was. She thought of everything, and I do mean everything! We had a wonderful stay and were very appreciative of how nice the cabin is. We loved it and will be booking again in the future! Perfect place to just go and be quiet. I'd mark it more than 5 stars if I could!

Fantastic mountain cabin

We love this cabin. It’s rustic and beautiful. If you’re looking for peace and serenity, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back when the leaves are on the trees. The stream that runs beside the cabin is just perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting. There were fresh flowers, home baked cookies and homemade jelly waiting on the table for us when we arrived. The cabin is clean and cozy. Pretty sure my husband wants to move in full time!
