Nice place
Cozy hotel with spacious rooms, we had a pleasant stay. I do wish the on site parking were more convenient and bigger in space, we ended up using the parking garage around the corner because the on site spots were too narrow. The location is very convenient, around lots of cafes and restaurants

Thank you for your good rating of our house. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay. The parking space situation is very limited with us. But there is the possibility to park the car on the street or in the two parking garages 200 meters away.

I stayed here because I was looking for a hotel close to the book fair. It was perfect. Clean, nice and very friendly. Walking distance to the fair which is perfect. Everyone was lovely and helpful. I will be back next year and will recommend to my publishing friends in NYC and London. thank you.

Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast, location and service. The only down sides were the early morning street noise and the fact that our fridge was broken and didn't get fixed or replaced during our stay.

Excellent hotel, well-located, quiet.
Nice hotel- small but clean and staff were super friendly- The staff allowed us to leave the car behind the hotel which made it much easier. Breakfast was great. Only issue was the pillow- next time I will bring my own!

Hotel West Busines stay
A great room, I really liked it, a small studio type feel. Good location and the staff were really nice. But the walls were thin and I could hear the room next doors TV all night, for 2 nights, so I didn't get a good nights sleep.

Great value
Area was a bit loud considering I was in the area for business and had to get to bed early. Very close to the underground station. Extremely clean room, management is excellent.

A pleasant surprise...
Front desk attendant, Nadia, was very helpful with everything. She made it more pleasant for us non-German speakers by help with parking, directions, general info. etc. Hotel was clean and sparkly, bed comfy, and had better pillows than most places! It was a pleasant surprise.

Wonderful little place!
Just a block away from an eclectic shopping street, Hotel West is in a quiet neighborhood and is easy to find. Take Tram 16 or U-4 (in which case take the Bockheim Depot exit). Look for the old tower. Close to it is a yellow Commerz Bank sign. The hotel is right next to it.

Quiet, Clean and Comfortable
A wonderful place to stay. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. The desk clerk spoke excellent English and gave very good advice about how to get around. The place is not hard to find, at least if you get off at the right exit on the U4 (just two stops from the HBF--Frankfurt's main rail station). (Hint: look for the "Bockenheim Depot/University Bibliotek sign. If you see the old tower, head toward it. On your left you'll see a yellow Commerz Bank sign. The hotel is to its left. Alternatively, tram 16 to Bockenheim station takes you to a stop just catty-corner to the hotel.) The neighborhood is nice, and there is a long shopping street just north of the hotel, easily visible, with good restaurants, mostly ethnic, cheaper than American ones.

Nice hotel close to metro and university.
Easy to find from metro. Quiet street. Desk clerk stored my luggage and gave me room key early, as I arrived well before check-in (3pm). Good breakfast selection. Nice service staff. Good sized and very clean room. Was happy to return for a second stay.

Best hotel with good price
It was really excellent. The transformation to the old town as well as the main station was great. It was just five minutes away from these locations, and the metro station was just right near the hotel. There was a nice restaurant/pub in front of the hotel, which opens till very late in the evening but crowded with nice peoples. Next time when I travel to Frankfurt, this is the definitely choice of mine.

An excellent family-run property. Clean, well-maintained and efficient. We enjoyed the neighbourhood for its restaurants, local shops and bakeries. Our only issue was construction noise on the street in front of the hotel. It started early and made leisurely mornings almost impossible. Not a big issue for us as we wanted get out and explore the city. Breakfast was lovely. We would definitely stay again.

Short visit to Frankfurt
The hotel stuff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. I stayed in the building next to the main one. The location of the hotel is near to mass transportation and grocery stores, restaurants etc. The breakfast served at the hotel was basic, but nothing was missing and the coffee was fresh. The free wifi was very slow, especially the upload speed (quite important if you e.g. plan to do video calls). Overall it is a good hotel and a nice experience.

Excellent Stay
Our stay at Hotel West was perfect! It was close to the train station which made transportation easy. It was clean, comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Management was so helpful. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again!

What more do you need!
if you do not need a full service hotel the West offers a big, well decorated clean rooms next to an underground station connecting to all of Frankfurt. The included breakfast is also very good. Great value and great situation.

Nice hotel, but they are doing some renovations. It got a little noisy the last night there. Breakfast was Included and was the standard European breakfast of cheese, cold cuts, bread, and 3 min. eggs. Parking was on the streets, but free. Lots of shops, restaurants, and bakeries close by.Train station was close, and they have a pass you buy at the hotel for unlimited rides for 2 day's for just a little over 8 euros. Would definitely go back there

Comfortable and charming
Wonderful 6-night stay while I was visiting Goethe University. The room was in great condition and was bigger and more comfortable that I was expecting. Breakfast had enough options each day so that I didn't get bored by the end of the trip. Charming place, and I would definitely stay again.

Lovely family run hotel
This is a charming family run hotel, well located in walking distance to Messe Frankfurt and easy access to public transportation. The breakfast was wonderful, the staff is gracious, the rooms are larger and more comfortable than most in Frankfurt. The only drawback is no elevator.

Convenient hotel to the Senckenberg Museum
I stayed at Hotel West for one week while working at the Senckenberg Museum and Research institute. The hotel is just down the street from the museum. The room was very spacious with a sofa and chair in the sitting area and with a comfortable bed. The room was clean and the hotel is very well maintained. It's a short walk to the Bockenheim U-bahn station and only about a 20 minute walk to the main shopping district (or you can take the U-bahn).

We enjoyed our stay here. It was very easy to get to the hotel and to anywhere in the city using U bahn station less than 2 minutes from the hotel. Clean room, friendly, helpful staff, nice breakfast.

A Small Hotel with a Big Value and Friendly Staff
This was the first time for both my teenage son and me to travel to Europe. While there were many sights and sounds that could be overwhelming, it was always a relief to return to our hotel and feel safe and comfortable. It is a small, independent hotel, but its cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff were better than most major hotel chains I've been to around the world. They do offer free parking, which was a must for us. The parking was a little tight, but the staff always worked hard to accommodate us and make sure we were able to get in and out. The WiFi was very reliable and affordable: they have a weekly rate of 15 Euros, which was per room, not per device (they gave us three separate codes for each of our devices). If I ever have the opportunity to return to Germany, I would most definitely stay here again. I would also recommend it to anyone, even my most beloved friends!

Thank you for your rating. Unfortunately, we can not understand this. Our house is located in a quiet side street in the old student quarter of Frankfurt with many cafes and restaurants. In 500m away is the Senckenberg Museum and the Palm Garden. Within walking distance are the City entrance fair in 10 minutes.

good value in west Frankfurt
I liked this hotel, and I'd definitely use it again if I were traveling to Frankfurt. Pluses: It's affordable. The rooms are spacious and modern, especially considering the price. For overseas travelers, the rooms have mechanical blind systems, so you can have total darkness to sleep in while you're still on your own local time. The staff serve a generous continental breakfast with cold cuts & eggs. It's on a plaza with 4-5 restaurants and a subway entrance within a bloc. Minuses: The outside facade makes the hotel look more run-down than it is inside. The younger staff are bilingual but the older staff speak barely any English. Most important, though it's close to the subway, the neighborhood is not in walking distance to downtown Frankfurt, so you'll need to expect to take subway to downtown. (I used the hotel for a conference at Goethe University on the west side of Frankfurt and it was perfect for my purposes.)

my favorite Frankfurt hotel
I have stayed at this small family run hotel for many years while on Business in the Frankfurt area. The property is spotless with a very friendly staff. My room was very big by european standards with large windows, mini bar , interent (all priced very reasonable.Some rooms are the typical european size but still very comfortable. There is no 24 hour reception but you can ring the manager easily. The neighborhood is in a University area with many good and inexpensive places to eat and shop. Take the U4 from the main train station 2 stops to Bockenheimer Warte. Its my favorite.

Etwas überlebter Standard. Logis nur bei Vorkasse.
Da es wenige Optionen aufgrund einer Messe in Ffm gab, habe ich erstmalig hier reserviert. Das Hotel ist wohl ein umgebautes, älteres Mehrfamilienhaus. Das Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber, aber auch durchaus schon ein paar Jahre in diesem Zustand. Die Fenster konnte man nicht recht verdunkeln. Der Preis war letztlich zu hoch, wenngleich Messezeit war. Die Summe musste ich vorab überweisen, was doch sehr ungewöhnlich ist. Der Service war freundlich.

Alle Fenster im Hause haben Elektrische Rollläden um die Zimmer komplett zu verdunkeln. Die Schalter befinden sich in den Fensternischen, möglicherweise haben Sie diese wegen der Gardiene übersehen.Bitte haben Sie Verständnis, dass unsere Preise während der Messezeiten leicht ansteigen können, um den erhöhten Geschäftsbetrieb zu decken.
