We LOVED our stay at this gem. Everything was just delightful. The homemade muffins were a delicious surprise. The cabin was comfortable for us to enjoy. It was off the beaten track but so worth the drive. We loved the quietness of the home. We didn’t want to leave.
Beautiful house, wonderful hosts. Amazing property with woods to explore. We found a creek bed to walk and loved the nature and serenity. Lots of the basic things you need were available. Lots of space in and outdoors. Location is so close to points of interest. We look forward to booking here again
My grandson was so excited to see the bobcat in the yard. We’re no strangers to wild animals what a great home you have. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We would like to come back
This beautiful house was situated on a huge well kept property. There was plenty of room for the four of us and the house was fully stocked with everything needed for a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The pictures on the listing do not come close to showing the beauty of this home and its property. Communication was great with Charissa. If we ever come back we would absolutely stay here! Thank you again.
Great place - everything you need to stay - loved the basket of blueberry muffins and the fresh fruit. Lots of laughs and fun times in the short 4 days!
Great house tucked away from the road. This home has plenty of space for everyone (4). Beds were comfortable, house was clean, and communication with the host was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the bathrooms. Overall wonderful place to stay.
We came for 2 nights to attend our son’s graduation from UMaine and had a wonderful time. Very relaxing, cozy and fun place to be. All the amenities you need for a relaxing time. Definitely recommended
The cabin and property were very nice. Plenty of space and places to sleep for a family of six. The outdoor space is very nice too, and we enjoyed the fire pit and the large grassy area behind it. It’s far enough from cities to see lots of stars at night too! We had everything we needed, including firewood and enough hot water for a big family to stay clean Only negatives were that the dishwasher was broken and one of the bathroom fans made a loud squealing sound, so we didn’t use it. Everything else was great!
Absolutely fantastic experience! The house feels like a fairy tale came alive. Very spacious, stocked with everything we would need and more. Muffins on the kitchen table. Very responsive host. Beautiful, peaceful and quite surroundings. We could not ask for more, thank you so much!
Came up from Cape Cod for a maritime event in Belfast and was looking for a rustic/cabin flavor stay. This was perfect for that and we had a great time. Would consider again if opportunity required.
Beautiful property that looks better in person than it does in the photos. Owned by a wonderful person with a personal connection to the home. Had everything you need for a good comfortable stay with easy to follow instructions.
Perfect place!
This was a great place to gather with friends. Enough room to gather together, there were 6 of us, or spread out. Great kitchen and having 3 bathrooms was a plus.
The cabin was fabulous BUT NOT a 3 bedroom! It’s a 2 bedroom with a bed tucked in behind a stairway. This is the only reason I didn’t give a 5 Star. Was not great for the couple that got stuck sleeping in the open to living room. It was very clean, had lots of games and toys for kiddos, sheets for a futon that was comfy. Host was nice to let us have one extra adult for 3 nights at additional cost.

Our stay was fantastic! The house was beautiful, and stocked with everything guests could possibly need other than food. Yard was nice - our kiddos appreciated the swingset. There was even fruit and a basket of homemade muffins waiting for us on arrival. When my husband and I realized we had forgotten our jackets after checkout, we reached out to the host and she mailed them to us. Simply could not have gone any better.
We loved this place! Very spacious, cozy, room to move around. The wood stove was lovely, and added to the overall homey feel of this rental. We had a few little things come up: There were several Febreeze plugins and scented candles spread throughout the home. If anyone is affected by heavy perfumes they should ask for them to be removed prior to your stay. We had one person in our party who has asthma and was coughing until we removed everything ourselves. One of the bathrooms had an odor preventing us from using it. There was a fishy aroma in the trash can. The owner said the previous party probably had lobster, and it seeped through the trash bag.We met the owner on our way out, and she was very sympathetic. Had we contacted her during our stay, we have no doubt she would have taken steps right away to correct these issues. We would definitely stay there again. Perfect for any season, peaceful and great location… well off the main road.
