"We liked the fact that the location of the hotel is in walking distance to the train station, old town district and nice hiking trails. I personally like hotel rooms with no carpet at I believe it's much cleaner with hardwood floors. That and the very nice rainforest shower made our stay very pleasant. After a long hike you want to kick off your hiking boots and enjoy a long shower :) The staff at the hotel was very friendly! When in Neustadt again, we will be back!"

"Basically the hotel restaurant was not open. We checked in and the owner disappeared. We felt like we were the only ones in the hotel. It was a. Dry strange experience. We had a mini bar in our room, but basically it was a trip into nearest town 7k away to get provisions. When we checked out in the morning, we were asked for payment . I explained and showed evidence that we had pre paid. Hotel clearly not used to bookings from Expedia. It was a little uncomfortable for all to say the least."
