"Staff was awesome, breakfast was the best, however, the hot water in the morning shower was not hot, not good at all. The staff said they've gotten other complaints and it's because we all share a hot water heater. NOT GOOD. If you want hot water with your shower in the morning, you're not going to get it, or wait for everyone else to finish showering. I didn't have hot water and they know why. it wasn't completely cold, but it was not warm enough at all. "

"The staff are incredibly friendly and approachable. We absolutely loved the breakfast spread and were impressed at how great the food was! The pool is so clean and maintained. My kids did not want to leave the water! Our room was beautiful and clean, but there was a storm during the night that we stayed, and water had leaked through the window and onto the heater box!"

"The good: Excellent breakfast menus both days. Lots of choices. Friendly staff, especially the woman overseeing the housekeeping. There’s a small business center, and the hotel shop where you can buy a decent meal to prepare in your room is a nice touch. The not-as-good: Room is designated as accessible, but it really isn’t: toilet is very low to the ground and hard on the knees; no grab bars; sink is waist high; a button outside door opens it for five seconds, but there isn’t a similar button to open the door from the inside. Mattresses are very uncomfortable, sloping down from the middle so it feels like you’re rolling downhill. Could use better lighting; we had just three very small lights fixtures. A floor lamp and larger desk lamp would be helpful. Needs better sound-proofing. The kids upstairs sounded like a herd of elephants all night long."

"Stay clear of this hotel. Honestly not sure how that have kept their affiliation with Holiday Inn. I think it is an older property that was rebranded and rehabbed years ago. The main issue is related to the bathrooms and cleaning. Not to be gross, but the water closet had wall paper with urine stains around the general toilet area. And there were numerous stains higher on the wall that appeared also to be bodily fluids, some with finger smears. I was completely grossed out. The shower was a horror show. A soap holder on the wall was a science experiment of black goo. The weird old solid surface walls had massive cracks in the caulk joints with black mold. I hated this room with the intensity of a thousand suns. Don’t stay here."

"This property was great for a multi-generational weekend getaway. We loved the pool and hot tub and enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings. I cannot recommend this location and hosts enough. "

"We loved our stay! The outside was so relaxing and fun. It was a wonderful location and the cabin had everything we needed. I really appreciated so many of the little things- the standing portable fan, the state park pass, the quality plates/cups, comfy blankets and the big tv and electrical fireplace. We plan to return! My one recommendation is to put a pillow top on one of the beds since they’re both SO firm. "
