"A lovely and tranquil property. It is located in a park, surrounded by a river. The staff is very nice, as are the rooms. They have an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a sauna. The breakfast is excellent in a nice atmosphere. There are about 16 or so parking spots next to the hotel, but a parking lot just over a walking bridge which is close by. "

"Host did a great job of communicating with me and although i had to cancell my stay due to the huge storm that went through the area i was very happy with the facilities. Would have been a great stay if mother nature had not destroyed so much. Was fully refunded with no questions asked and very quickly. Really sorry things did not work out but definitely a great little place in a very rural area."

"Parking is 5 min walk away. Little things that make the property not a five star. Room was small. Room had a smell. Temperature was hard to control. Bathroom with no privacy - glass partitions. No small face cloths. Bed was hard. Breakfast was standard but not outstanding. Good aspects: clean room. Fast internet. 2 free bottles of water. "

"This hotel is an oasis of calm and tranquillity. Rooms are bright and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and it was a pleasure to wake up to warm sunlight from the Juliet balcony. The location is great, with easy walking access to several restaurants in town. The staff are a credit to their organisation and helped with advice when asked. The provided information about driving tours of the area, all of which proved fascinating. We particulary recommend visiting Monsanto, Coimbra, Tomar and the Schist Villages."
