Fully fenced family and pet friendly iconic kiwi bach awaits

3 bedroom bach with spacious fully fenced section. Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac with large reserve to kick around a ball or play cricket and also direct entrance into mountain bike and walking tracks through forest.

Fantastic in the summer months and also very warm in winter with a log fire. A 10 minute walk through sand hills to Foxton Beach. Sheltered, quiet section with ample room for kids and dogs to run around. Off the kitchen is a sheltered launday/porch area for your pooch to snuggle up at night. An easy 10-minute walk to a large kids playground and skate park, cafe/restaurant. Not much further take a walk/bike ride up the stunning Estuary to enjoy the view and then munch down some good old kiwi fish n chips or pick up some supplies from the local four-square store.

Enjoy the evening by the fire, watching telly or with a game of darts or pool in the garage.

Base rate per night covers up to 4 guests. There is an additional guest fee of $20 per extra guest per night.

There is also unlimited WiFi at the property - @ $20 per stay.

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to leave the bach as you wish to find it (full cleaning supplies provided), bring your own linen (towels/sheets). Perfect spot for people with a pooch

The bach was as described and had everything we needed for our stay. Being allowed to bring our pet, a fully fenced section and quick access to walking tracks under the pines made it a very good dog friendly destination.

Foxton Beach holiday

The house suited us perfectly. It was also ideal for our 2 little dogs who loved getting out into the woods with us. We would (hopefully will) be back at some point in the future.

Foxton Beach Getaway

The property is located by the beach, Forrest and walking tracks. It is a lovely warm comfortable home with a very secure large back yard which is just perfect for a dog. Would highly recommend 😊

Lovely spot by the reserve. Easy walking access to the beach over the sand hills and great biking track. Comfortable beds. House is well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great holiday for kids

Lovely spot for a wee family holiday. Easy bike ride to the playground and bike park which our 3 year old loved. Lots of space inside and everything we needed. Quite warm when it reached 28 degrees but we used the fans.

Just needed to escape - perfect! Homely, comfortable, relaxing. Walks and beaches better than our poor old battered Napier! Pensioners and dog - we love this place.

Right by a peaceful forest & 5 mins walk from the beach. Fruit trees in the fenced garden. We stayed in winter/spring and had a roaring fire and a very relaxing stay. Lovely place to get away for a few days and recharge.

A lovely property, great fully fenced backyard for our labrador. Spacious and great big bunk room for our teenagers. Next to the the forest so a few cars coming and going at times but generally quiet. No problems there, thank you times

Family Reunion

This was a fantastic place for families as plenty of room outside and also the reserve and forest next door which the children just loved. If you need more accommodation then directly across the road is another bookabatch the we also used. So having two houses in walking distance was amazing.

The perfect Bach!

We loved this place so much! It was like the perfect classic kiwi Bach but with modern comforts and plenty of space so it didn’t feel too much like being in the 1960s. The big, fully fenced garden was great for keeping our dog and toddler contained and entertained! The bathroom was great. The kitchen was really functional (so great having a dishwasher). The giant couch was big enough for our leggy bunch. The location next to the forest reserve is really peaceful and beautiful. Loved the walk through the dunes to the beach but we warned it is quite long! A bit much for our littlest. We will be trying to come back for another stay next summer!
