"Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was great with scrambled eggs (better quality than most), sausage, hashbrowns, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels and more. Coffee was great."

"Really enjoyed my stay in a beautiful room looking out over the harbor. The bed was comfortable and the other furniture clean and attractive. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Both breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant were excellent, and the view from the dining room and outdoor terrace lovely. Enjoyed walking a loop around the property, including the boardwalk along the shoreline.. Would have been very happy to stay longer!"

"Fresh pee stains on the toilet, fecal stains in the bowl, and hair in the tub. I questioned if the room had been cleaned since the last guest. Door and window locks malfunctioned. Manager said "we're short staffed in housekeeping. That was evident, and made the room feel even dirtier than it was."

"Walls in room had patched holes, and large areas had been painted with different, unmatched colors. Many areas were not clean. Iron had red material stuck to it and could not be used."

"Our TV and phone were both out. No staff member was able to reset them. If we hadn't had a cell phone we would not have had any outside communication. Breakfast was only scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits no additional meats. Some Danish and a waffle maker but no batter."

"We purchased an extra night so that we could sleep in the hotel room when we arrived after a 10 hour drive through the night with no sleep and 2 kids. Upon arrival the front desk staff (who was so rude and not accommodating at all) told us our reservation had been cancelled. We had to pay for service for both nights even though we didn’t get to stay at the hotel at all. We were then forced to purchase a different hotel across the street so that we could finally sleep. Worst way to start our vacation and deal with this mess, especially after the long drive with no sleep! I will NEVER stay at a Marriot again because of this horrible experience and customer service."
