With new COVID-19 safety guidelines to adhere to, travel looks a bit different right now. These are some handy things to know before you pack your suitcase for Forøya:

• Know what, if any, restrictions or rules apply to both your destination and origin. You may not be able to travel depending on local circumstances, so don't forget to check before you lock something in.
• Requirements state you must wear a face mask at the airport, even at screening checkpoints. You should be prepared to lower your mask for ID purposes when asked by a TSA employee.

• Separate any food you have for screening. Food items often set off the alarm. Placing them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA officer to handle and inspect your belongings.
