"So the property that we booked for was closed because it was destroyed due to a hurricane in 2023. We were taken to its sister property not far from this property and the Mayan Palace was really awesome. Rooms were overall great and mostly everything was working. The TV and the tub were the only things I had issues with. Staff was great, easy to get a taxi, there is no uber in the area. The amenities were awesome, like the pool, lazy river and gym. "Staff was super friendly, not too crowded with guests. The hotel is located along a hill so you get a wonderful view of the coastline. Air conditioning was great, rooms were probably cleaned and the private pool was a great addition to have. Recommend going to the hotel pool early to grab a spot. "
