"The 29 Palms location is close to an entrance to Joshua Tree National Park and about a half hour away from the town of Joshua Tree. The house was roomy, well outfitted and very comfortable. The hot tub on a cool desert morning was lovely. Zara was a gracious and incredibly responsive host. In addition, it was was an incredible value. I highly recommend it."

"The property is very run down and you can tell the locals use ir as a party or long term stay location. Terrible water pressure and water wouldn't stay hot. Beds were VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. Would never stay here again. We booked this as a rest/recover spot after exploring Joshua Tree and was so very disappointed that we couldn't get the rest we needed to enjoy our trip."

"The staff was helpful, the room was clean, water was hot in the morning, all these are good things. However we arrived late from travel for a Sunday at check in about 4 PM and the in house restaurant apparently is closed on Sunday's and Mondays, so we were out of luck with that regard. Initially told that the next door property had a coffee shop but it was closed also. We didn't use pool or hot tub only because we were passing through, however it looked clean and in good shape. The bed was OK, the AC slightly noisy, so we turned it off. Overall Better than some, not as Good as others, but considering the price we're giving others the choice to decide on their own. Parking and security was Good and FREE."
